Well, we can't pee into our neighbor's window for legal purposes, but if you can get a good angle, it might be able to be acomplished.

It allows us to pee standing up. We can aim.

Boners suck if you get them in public.

They're also a very annoying and plentiful joke subject.

It's a tail with a bunch of nerve endings on it. Sometimes it grows longer and goes from it's usual squishy state to very hard. Trying to pee out of it while it gets long and hard is nearly impossible without making a mess. Imagine your vagina becomming a tube and growing all the way up to your bellybutton, with the hole facing the direction of your face. You will become a freaking fountain splashing all over the place.

You know how your tongue is never sitting confortably in your mouth? Well, it's the same thing with penises in our pants. There's no correct, universal way to have it positioned. It's just there. We just get used to it until someone reminds us how unformfortable it is. Then we are bothered by it until we forgot. Sort of like the "you are now reathing manually" trick.
