There I was, sitting in my room waiting for my sister to get out. She's six years old and loves to mess with my things. It's mildly annoying. Anyway, I open the door to my balcony thas conected to my room to look at the storm. I left the door open and sat on my bed, eventually facing away from it when my sister catches my attention by messing with one of my favorite things.


"Don't mess with my things."

I say, only for my sister to start laughing. While I'm looking at her, I see the entire room suddenly filled with light for a split second, followed by the loudest noise I ever heard. It startled me a lot. My sister is laughing like crazy now.

"You got struck by lightning!"

She said.


I'm confuzed for a second until finally I notice a small flame on my shoulder. Thankfully it was just on my shirt. I just folded my sleve over it to put it out. I didn't feel a thing, but apparently I was struck by lightning, and I missed it. I was feeling extremely col afterwards though.
