This is about my "I hate kids" thread. In it people starting putting words in my mouth, claiming I said things that I never even mentioned (for example, the "fact" that I didn't want to have kids, which I never said) and pretty much acted like I had just murdered someone.
I'm going to make this brief. I am going to state five points in this thread and make them as short as I can, so bear with me.
1. I know kids aren't always going to be the way they are.
I never said that "I was determining their future" based on how they act NOW. I didn't even mention them growing up. What's with those strange assumptions.
2. I know I was a kid once.
I never said I wasn't a little entitled brat when I was a kid too. I never claimed not to ever be a kid. You guys acted as if I didn't know that.
I hate kids in general. Not every kid except for my past self. That wouldn't make sense.
3. Clarification on why I hate kids.
You've seen the way they act. They cry ove the most rediculas things. Their minds aren't developed enough to let them use common sense. Is it their fault? No. Does that make it less annoying? Take a guess. I think you have an IQ higher than 9.
4. Their behavior
If you don't want me to say "I hate kids", but rather call it "I hate the behavior of kids", fine. If that sounds a little more sensitive to you.
5. A message to you
Do you know why I am disappointed in you? The things I stated, I assume you guys were smart enough to already know that it goes without saying. I shouldn't of had to explain myself to you. I'm not an idiot, but you WANT to think I'm an idiot. You guys are generally negative and like to disagree with people. At least from my perspective, that's how I see it.
Am I being harsh? Maybe, and I know that this doesn't apply to everything. I know that most of you guys will want to try to argue with me because you felt like I'm attacking you personally, but that just means you're normal. However, I always admit when I am wrong here, don't I? Of course. So please, all of you, stop trying to find excuses to disagree with eachother.
Whenever someone make a thread about something controversial, it always seems to me like you LIKE to disagree. It didn't bother me at first, but it's been starting to escelate a lot lately. Be mature. Nobody here is "the bad guy". Try to see things from other people's perspectives and stop looking for debates.
