Good question. However, these kind of problems are easily worked out. Anyone making a brony related thread who doesn't know about the brony thread can be sent a link to it when their thread is closed or deleted.

Some people aren't able to bookmark. The stickied threads would easily be forgotten, and there's a reason that they're stickied. It's to keep them in the front page.
For example, in Feature Suggestions, we sticky threads that are highly liked for the admin to see (even though he probably won't make it). How would the admin even know that the thread exists?

I'm pretty sure that I said the threads that could be in stickied were things like the brony thread or the chat thread.

As for number four, I can see why it doesn't sound so great. It could work great since new users are very uncommon these days though.

My first idea is a feature that allows you to comment on a thread without bumping it. My second one is a feature that keeps users less than two weeks old from bumping threads.
How it would be useful:
1. Someone make a pointless/troll thread? Now you can comment something like "let this drown" without bumping it. It would also keep those annoying people that always make fun of the poster from bumping the thread every five seconds.
2. New user comments on super old threads like an idiot? No problem. If they are new and unable to bump, you won't see the front page flooded with only threads they like.
3. New guy spamming comments to keep his thread up because nobody has commented yet? Problem solved.
4. Too many stickies? Now we can un-sticky the brony thread and whatnot so that people can still comment on them all they want and not have to keep it on the front page.

Just add it to your book marks then you lazy bastards. You can do that on any electronic including dsi.
