As far as original ideas, I have an idea about a living glitch in television that goes through and intrudes random TV programmes. It would be expensive to gain the rights to the shows he goes through, and visually recreate the scenes, but it would also be fun.

He has problems choosing which side to fight for, the Justice League fighting for good, and the Red Lanterns fighting for evil....this actually sounds more like a movie.

Protagonist is given the ability to time travel but can only use it a specific way: he can go back exactly a week. Not forward, not a day, only BACK in time exactly a week.
The protagonist moves to a small town that's really quiet and doesn't have many buildings. It's sort of in the mountains in the middle of nowhere. The perfect place to get away with murder, although the town in usually peaceful and everybody knows each other. One day someone disappears. The next day, more people disappear. Same as the week goes on. Eventually the protagonist learns that the killer goes to his school. The town is small so there are only 81 students and 4 classrooms.
The protagonist wakes up the morning after he gains this information and realizes he time traveled back a week. He can't remember what happened the day he time traveled though. As the show goes on, the protagonist learns that he automatically forgets everything that happens the day he time travels back. He also learns not to make the same mistakes that lead up him him getting killed while saving others from getting killed by using information and clues he gained from the other timelines, until finally he can find out who the murderer is.
