Horror movies try too hard, natural fear is stuff like secrets of the E.R and Paula Deen or whatever her name is. Now that's horror.

I like the movie 1408 I though it was scary but I saw the movie when I was I think 7. Now its like a funny movie.

horror movies never scare me so they can be boring sometimes but i love the SAW movies they are more just plain gorry then horror though

You have to make it really scary for me to be creeped out. That being said, John Carpenter (creator of the original 'Halloween,' and the 1980s 'The Thing'

made 'In The Mouth Of Madness,' a horribly overlooked film. It's unsettling, creepy, and has enough shock value to scare most people, but balances well. It's a very intelligent movie, too. Great plot, plenty of scares, little suggestive comments, and shows pretty much no naughty bits. Definitely an amazing film.
