Funny, this wasn't the case of me:

1) Hears about Plaza on globaldsichat
2) Signs up
3) Makes friends with people on the RP Chats
4) RPs for a while
5) Finds the glorius Forums #ForumMasterRace
6) Becomes well-known with users on Forums and good friends with them.
7) Goes to other chats and makes friends there
8) Writes stories and makes games on the Forums
9) Becomes moderately well-known

In fact, I really was lucky when I started on this site, for example, I never would of made friends with Jack if a nub didn't insult Brits on a Gaming thread.
