Horror, the type of genre that's between petrifying or laughable in scariness. What are some of your favorite scary games? Or maybe some of the scariest/most ridiculous horror games you've played?

A current favorite of mine would be Ao Oni (hence the avatar).

Try Outlast. It's a real Horror experience.

Outlast is a cheap game. It's not even scary, lol.
Horror games need to start catching the RE4SYLE disease and not the PEWDIEASSHATAMNESIATDDSTYLE disease. srsly

@ayuki The Evil Within looks very Resident Evil-ish.
Ironic, since it's going to be done by Shinji Mikami, a.k.a. the guy behind Resident Evil.
Also, it's coming out in October, not August.

@ayuki There's also Shadows of the Damned. It's a game that's best described as "the bastard child of Resident Evil 4, Silent Hill, Devil May Cry and killer7."
Not only that it's by the creator of Resident Evil, it's also by Suda51 and Akira Yamaoka, the composer of Silent Hill.

tbh I'm a fat scaredy-cat, so I favor the pixel rpg horror games. I have no real favorite, but I loved Ib, The Crooked Man, and Off, to name some.

pewdiepie ruined amnesia for me with his obnoxious screaming and the fact that he milks youtube dollarz off of his fans just by screaming, laughing or screaming in swedish

Dead Space and Amnesia look like they're pretty good, though I can't say that I've heard of Outlast. 7 Days was also a good game.
