Got this game a few days ago on PS4 and can't stop playing. Maybe I'm a bit biased because I live by Chicago but this game is phenomenal. Insane jacked up graphics (Good job on making the next-gen versions look good, Ubi) huge map and just a ridiculous amount of side content. And the side stuff is actually REALLY good.
There's been a lot of negative stuff about this game going around, mostly from people butthurt that it lost a few textures from the E3 2012 tech demo, but I can say this is the best game of 2014 so far.
Mainly because the city is so alive, we FINALLY have a game where the NPCs aren't completely brain dead. Serious attention to detail in this game. My only complaints are really minor things like a lack of certain water effects (Aiden is either all wet or completely dry). But overall it looks amazing, it ironically looks better than inFAMOUS Second Son which wasn't even cross-gen.
Also, I wish you could fly. Landing on top of the Sears Tower would be boss, though I guess being able to cruise Lake Michigan by boat makes up for it.
Story is good too, not sure what is with the moaning about that. Something is wrong with the world when critics are okay with Call of Duty's story and say it's "entertaining" then whine that Aiden has no "personality." He does have one, btw.
