I think it's easier to open your eyes when your mouth is open because you're trying to put on a "surprised" face.

I don't know.. I don't wear it (or any makeup).

I have seen my fair share of makeuo tutorials and stuff. I guess it's to help pull down their bottom eyelid. So the makeup wouldn't smudge everywhere.

Yesssss! I see my sister do it all the time.
When you open your mouth, you're basically stretching your face downwards, and....and....uhhhhh...hmmm...
They want to make their eye liner/ mascara look perfect, soo...ummm...Am I on the right track?

I always wondered the same thing, too

I know that I'm one who gapes my mouth open when I put on eyeliner...At first I never noticed that I do it. Opening your mouth doesn't effect your eyes in any way, so I suppose it is just a habit...almost how some people stick their tongue out or make constipated expressions when doing a tedious task, you know?
