Introduction

The name's Taliyah. Me and my brother, Timothy, have lived right here. Right here, in this basement. For 12 years. We were actually made in a beautiful place, actually. A beautiful mansion. Children would always play with us. We would always feel excited for our next adventure. But the problem was that we couldn't move. They moved us. Oh, you think I'm human? Well, me and Tim are on the top shelf of the basement. We're what you consider adorable or creepy. Today, we're what you call junk. We cannot speak, nor can we move, but what we can do is wish. I wish I could move. I cannot read Timothy's thoughts, but I am sure he wishes the exact same thing. But we both know it cannot happen. For we are just dolls.

Chapter 1

I cannot exactly believe what is happening. A girl, whom I think might be 13 or 12, has just entered the basement. I thought she would look at me and Timothy first, but instead, she was filling in her curiousity. She picked up a beautiful emerald necklace. As for I, who has been here for over 12 years, have not even noticed. Obviously curious, she puts it on. I finally got to see the girl correctly. She had black glasses, and long, wavy, brown hair. She also had beautiful, wonderous brown eyes, which were looking straight at us. The girl was looking at me and Tim.

“Hello,” the girl said. “My name is Arin. Who might you be?”

Taliyah, I thought. The girl, who is named Arin, took me out of the case. She inspected me closely, dusting off the dust that was on me. She also noticed my brother Timothy, and sat me down on a box. She took him out of his case, and sat him down next to me.

The girl, Arin, suddenly sighs, but in a good way. At least, I think so. “I wish you two were alive,” she said, sitting down on the dust-infested floor.

The necklace suddenly glowed green, as a young girl appeared. It was holographic. I looked closely. It was Abbie. Abbie, the girl who owned me and Timothy first. She still looked the same. I remember, she is nine years of age. Her golden locks of hair were in pigtail braids, with a crystalized bow on each end. She was wearing a beautiful white dress. Her beautiful blue eyes sparkled in the light.

“Arin,” said Abbie. “Do you want me to grant your wish?”

“Who are you?” Arin asked, as she looked in astonishment.

“That is not for me to answer.”

“Then... Yes. It's more than anything in the world. True friends are all I need.”

Abbie sprinkled this sparkley white dust on both me and Tim. I didn't know why, but I felt a sensation. Then, I realized something very strange. I blinked. So did Timothy. I began to be able to move my head, then my arms, legs, and body. Same goes for Tim. A bright light entered my chest, and a different colored light went in Tim's. “Ugh...” I said.

I then realized that I have spoken my first word. Well, it was more of an omnopoeia.

(Like it so far? Comment on whether I should continue or just stop. Thanks!)

Chapter 2

Arin put the two of us down, and looked at us in amazement. Timothy was already attempting a handstand, but he kept on falling. I laughed, then looked at myself. I twirled, hopped, danced; you understand. I felt like this was the best day of my life.

“Ayooooo. Blueeee. Happyyyyy. Yep! My voice is fabulous!” exclaimed Timothy, smiling at me with his beaded eyes. Arin laughed happily, and looked at me.

“Who was she?” she asked, her voice filled with curiousity.

“Abigail,” I answered. “Abbie for short.”

“Abigail was the first people who owned us. Wait. I meant person. It's harder to speak,” said Tim.

“What are your names?” Arin asked us. I loved hearing her beautiful voice, for she brought us to life.

“I am Taliyah, and this is-”

“I am Tim,” said Tim, interuppting me. He did a cartwheel. I laughed as he failed.

“So, Arin, how is it like outdoors?” I ask, Tim obviously being curious. His voice, by the way, is adorable!

“Wait, you heard my name?” she asked.

“Well, of course,” I answer her, smiling softly. “We just were never able to move. Until today, of course.”

Arin looked at me, thinking for a moment. “You look a lot like Tim. Are you two brother and sister?”

“Yes! We are!” Timothy answered in excitement.

“Do you two have a mum?” Arin asked.

“Well, Abigail was our mom. She passes away years ago,” me and Timothy said at the same time, then looking at eachother.

“This is a pretty neat basement,” said Arin. “How ever did you do manage being up there in those dusty shelves?”

“We just did. We couldn't move, so we really didn't have a choice,” explained Timothy.

Arin gasped with excitement. “Want to see my room?” she asked us, as I nodded a yes. Tim looked unsure of himself.

“Um... There aren't any rats, correct?” asked Tim, looking frightened. Arin only laughed, patting him on the shoulder softly.

“Don't worry, I keep my dolls safe.”

She picked us up gently, and walked up the stairs. She held the doorknob, turned it, and voila; there it is. The living room. It looks a bit different. The walls were painted beige, with a brown couch. It looked soft. There was also a televison. Probably widescreen. Ooh! There was also a wooden floor! It was shinier than the last time I saw it. Arin turned left, and put us dow on the counter. She went to a woman, obviously older than her. She looked like Arin, then I found out.

“Mummy!” said Arin, looking at the woman. Of course. It was Arin's mom.

“Hey, sweetie. Do you like the new house?”

“Yes, mummy. Oh, and guess what? I found two lovely dolls!” she said, picking me and Tim up. “The boy is Timothy, and the girl is Taliyah!”

A man walked into the room and looked at Arin. “I told your mother this was the perfect house.”

Her mom laughed. “Aaden, stop it.”

Wait. Aaden? Wasn't that the name of Abigail's brother?

The man looked at the dolls, and smiled. “Now, won't you look at this. You found dear Abbie's precious dolls. I used to play as Timothy. She would always be Taliyah.”

Arin look at her father, confused. “You lived here?”

He smiled. “That's right! That's why I chose this house. I wanted you to live with a kind heart; just like Abigail's.”

Arin smiled happily, hugging her father. “Thank you, daddy.”

Her father hugged back. “No problem, Arin.”

Arin ran up the stairs and ran to her room, and put us down on her dollhouse. “I had no dolls yet, so daddy got me this in case I get one for being good.”

I looked around the dollhouse, noticing there were two bedrooms. Me and Timothy both went to one, and we both cuddled up with our sheets. Arin smiled at us, and went to her bed. She turned off the light, cuddled with her bed and said one thing. “Good night.”

Yay! This chapter was good, too. Try to add a bit more action in the next chapter. This is only the second chapter, so I don't mind. c:

Chapter 3

I woke up; as simple as that. I basically blinked slowly, then blinked quickly. Like, what the heck is up with that. I realized it was about one to two-o-clock, so I was about to go back to sleep. About to. I saw Abigail. Well, it looked like Abigail, except her eyes were red, and her dress wasn't white; it was black. She also looked older. She was stroking sleeping Arin's hair, and smiled deviously.

“Oh, Arin,” she said, darkness pouring all over Abbie's voice. “If only you knew that wishes had a dark side.” She laughed an evil, but soft laugh. I watched in terror as her long, black nails ran along Arin's face. She took out green dust. But before then, Aaden, Arin's father, came in and looked at Abigail.

“Abbie! What has gotten into you!?” he exclaimed, with Arin still fast asleep.

“Aaden, don't worry. She won't be dead; she'll only sleep forever.”

“You just got that from a movie-”

“Shut up. It seems evil enough.”

“Abbie, I wanted her to be kind-hearted; like you.”

“Arin and I were supposed to be friends; not those pesky dolls.” She got closer to Aaden. He backed away.

“What's wrong, dear brother?” she asked innocently, smirking. “I thought you loved me.” Aaden did not say a word.

“Go back to your wife; I had enough betrayal.”

“I did not betray you, sister,” he said, gathering his fists. “You're the one trying to kill my daughter!”

“Ah, not now, of course. When she turns fourteen.”

“That's in a few short days,” he growled. Abbie lifted Aaden's chin up.

“Exactly.” She laughed an evil laugh and threw the green dust in his face, therefore leaving him sound asleep. She then looked at me. She gave me a mischievious smile. “Don't worry. It'll wash off in morning.” She threw some at me. I woke up to light, seeing Timothy.

“C'mon! Lets go see Abigail!” he exclaimed excitedly. Obviously, he has no idea what's going on.

“Tim, there's something I need to tell you-” I stopped myself. I looked straight at a painting. “Is that picture.... Moving?” Tim looked at the painting I was looking at, then looked concerned.

“It seems so... But c'mon, lets not get our minds on a blank sheet of paper,” he replied. I realized Arin was still alseep.

“Is she okay?” I asked Tim, wondering if Abbie did something to her.

“Naw, she's fine. I woke you up early.” Then someone walked in. It was Aaden. The first thing he looked at was me and Timothy. He gasped at how we moved. We both also gasped.

“I- I can't believe it...”

“It wasn't a dream,” I said to Aaden, knowing dang well that he thinks it is.

“What was a dream?” Tim asked me. I nearly forgot he didn't know what was going on.

“When is her birthday?” I asked Aaden.

“J-June 30th.”

“Four more days...”

“Until then.”

“She doesn't even know what's to come for her...”

“Wait,” Aaden said to me. “There's something you guys didn't know about Abigail.”

Nonsense, I thought. I knew Abigail ever since she was little.

“Jealousy stood with her. When she wants a friend, she never wants her friend to play with anyone else except her. Normal childish behavior; but she never was taught how to control that jealousy,” he explained. He waved his hand, taking us somewhere. It was odd. I looked around and saw young and innocent Abigail. She looked innocent, at least. She was walking around, and went to a group. She pointed to a a girl in particular and yelled at her.

“Why would you betray me like this!?” Abbie yelled. “I thought we were friends!”

“Wh-what did I d-do?” stuttered the innocent wheelchaired brunette.

“You obviously went to other people instead of ME! You don't deserve to do such betrayal!” Abigail pushed the girl off her wheelchair. It was sad. I felt a teardrop run down my fabric skin. I looked at Aaden.

“Abbie has violence under her skin. Watch more.”

Abigail did not just do that, but she took out the green dust she had; the exact one she was about to pour on Abigail. “You don't talk to me; you don't talk to anyone.” She blew the dust on the poor girl, as if she took away her voice; which she did. “Now, try yelling for help. Oh, that's right. You can't.”

With another swish of his hand, Aaden brought us back home. “I was terrified. Then she thought I betrayed her. Everyone then just ignored her. She wanted a friend. All to herself.”

“That's why she nearly tried to put Arin to sleep; forever.”

“I- I never knew she put violence into things,” said Tim.

“She always had.”

I looked at Arin. “Does she have powers, too?”

“Yes,” answered Aaden. “She's supposed to. I don't think she's discovered them, yet.”

“In that case... We have to stop Abbie. Before it's too late,” said Tim.

“We loved her, and now she's a threat.” My face saddened at the thought. “Who would've known.”

“Oh, and by the way,” Aaden began, waving his hand once more. White, sparkley stuff surrounded me and Timothy. After it vanished, I saw nothing new. “I just gave you the power to turn human. Welcome to the family.”

(Likey? I tried my best to add action in it. cx Hope it's acceptable)

Look, guys, I'm stuck on inspiration. Plus, when I do, I type it in here and then it goes away because of the stupid reload button. That's why we'll have a delay in the writing.

I will try to submit the fourth chapter around July 19th, 2014. Make sure to check in that day for the fourth chapter!

Chapter 4

“Human!?” I exclaim, obviously confused. “Why must we obtain the power of shapeshifting to human?!”

“Actually,” Aaden said, sighing. “You guys used to be human.”

“Really?” exclaimed Timothy excitedly. “We used to be human!?”

I scoff, and yes, I know that sounded rude. “If we used to be human, how come I don't remember that?” I asked. Surely, he wouldn't know how to answer that, right?

“She used a special spell to both erase your memory and turn you into a doll,” he said, swaying his arm one more time. I saw two girls and one boy; Abigail was one of them. Abigail and the other girl seemed to have a battle. Surely, it was a friendly battle, with magic, right? Wait, with magic?

“Okay, Abbie,” one of the girls said. Wait a second. That girl sounds like me! “You against me.”

Abigail giggled softly. “Don't go too hard on me, Taliyah.”

“I won't!”

Wait a second, did she just say my name!?

The girl, A.K.A the other Taliyah, put herself in a position in which her left foot was behind her right, both hands near her left hip. A bright, lavender light emerged between her hands.

“Narwhal mora útok!” said the girl, Taliyah, as she gestured her hands and stomped with her left foot to move it in front of her right. On the floor, a hole of water appeared, and a narwhal came out of nowhere and splashed water harshly at Abigail, whom fell.

Abigail grunted as she got up. “I thought you said you were going easy on me!” she yelled, obviously angry.

“I did!” The mysterious Taliyah girl yelled back.

Abigail only rolled her eyes and got in a stance, in which both feet were separated from eachother. She put her hands above her head, her hands close together, as a green light emerged between them. “Hit tieni sova pamäti!” said Abigail as she gestured her hands to Taliyah's direction. A gigantic, black owl with glowing green eyes appeared.

“Where did you learn that spell!?” Taliyah, or I, said as if she were scared. I honestly thought that was scary as heck.

“That's not for you to know!” Abigail yelled.

“Taliyah!” said the boy, who appearently came back with a drink. Abigail growled.

“No one can know I did this....” Abigail said to herself. The other two must've missed it.

“Timothy, no!” said Taliyah number two.

Timothy number two ran to his sister, dropping the drink of course. Abigail spread both arms away from her sides, as the gigantic owl swooped down at both Timothy and Taliyah, knocking them both out. Abigail took this a bit differently, as if it weren't enough.

She took out a spellbook. Yes, I said it; a spellbook. I saw her give a smirk as she looked at the two kids. “Maybe it'd be better if your mouths were sewn shut,” she said, laughing off that evil laugh of her's. Man, to think she was such a nice person! She took out the green dust and sprinkled some over the two.

“Obráťte sa na bábiky,” she commanded to the green dust. Then, the dust surrounded the two younglings and then; bam. They were dolls. They looked exactly like us.

With one last sway of Aaden's hand, we returned to the outside of Arin's room. Both me and Timothy looked scared as heck. “Th-that was us?!” Timothy asked shaking. Aaden only nodded to answer the question.

“The two of you were somewhat human,” Aaden says to us. “She erased the memory of you two. The reverse spell is quite difficult. Sadly, there is no reverse spell for the turning-you-into-dolls thing. But with the enchantment I have given you, you can turn into a live doll and a human!”

“She's a witch,” Timothy said, obviously talking about Abigail.

“Well, what're we gonna do?” said a voice. Arin was awoken.

“How much did you hear?!” I asked her, just to make sure.

“Abigail was faking the nice act, she tried to poison me, and that you guys used to human-ish,” Arin answered.

“She heard everything,” Timothy said. “So, what do we do?”

Aaden put a map on the floor. I knew what the freakin' globe looked like, and it looked nothing like it. It was like an alternate world!

“This is where you'll be going,” Aaden said. “To a city with the name Hoverbroad.”

“Hoverboard?” asked Timothy, obviously confused. “That's a silly name.”

“Not hoverboard, Hoverbroad. B-R-O-A-D,” corrected Aaden. “Anyway, the three of you will go there with the transportation of a bus driver named Bus.”

“Hold on,” Arin objected. “There's a bus driver named Bus?”

“Cool!” I exclaimed.

“Wait, there's a bus named Bus Driver? Coolio,” said Timothy. I just sighed at his idioticy.

Aaden cleared his throat. “Anyway, you'll be driven off into a school; Hoverbroad Highschool. It's one of those dorm schoo-”

“I'm still in middle school,” Arin clearified.

“You're tall, you'll fit in just fine. Besides, you skipped a grade. You'd be in high school after the summer,” explained Aaden.

“What must we do?” I finally asked.

“Oh, there's a basement in the school. I would be honored for the three of you to enter it and get a crystal. It's one of the things we will need to retrieve Taliyah and Timothy's memory. It's not complete without the three crystals of time.”

“That's why you need it!” I exclaimed. “The reverse spell contains the three crystals because you need to add in the time!”

“Exactly,” said Aaden. I felt proud of myself when he said so. “Bus should be waiting for you guys in a few hours. Until then, pack your bags; we're going on an alternate world.”

An hour or two later, everyone's finished packing. As for then, me and Timothy shapeshifted into our human forms. We looked like younger us, except a little older. My hair was still violet in long pigtail braids. I was wearing a uniform, though. Timothy, on the other hand, had blue hair. He was also wearing what was seemingly a uniform. His eyes were blue as well.

“Okay. Lets meet this Bus guy,” said Arin, whom flipped her hair. Me and Timothy non-verbally agreed. How, you ask? Timothy flipped his hair.

“I'm so fabulous and so ready,” said Timothy.

Well, someone is self-centered. Well, here goes nothing. But then bam, look who it is.

“UNCLE AADEN, I'M BACCCCKKKK!” said a very familiar voice.

That voice is from a man, or at this point, a very young man, named Draco (1). He is a teenager and the niece of Aaden, in which Aaden calls him the most annoying niece ever. He told us not to tell him, though. Well, he told me. Not Timothy; no one trusts Timothy with secrets at all. Draco has blonde hair and, very rare, red eyes. Yes, Draco has a sister, but I'm not sure where she is, anyway.

Aaden cleared his throat. “Draco, what're you doing here?” he asked him. Draco just looked at me and Timothy and gasped.

“Th-they... Wh-what... TALIYAH AND TIMOTHY!? I THOUGHT THEY DIED!!”

Oh yeah. In the hours we were packing, Aaden told us a bit about our relationship with Draco.

“Draco wasn't a wizard like the two of you,” Aaden had said before then. “In fact, even I have no idea what he is. He's not a wizard, that's for sure. Anyway, you guys and Draco used to be the bestest of friends. The last time he saw you guys was when Taliyah said, 'Hey, I'm going to go to Abbie's. Wanna join us?'. He said no and then when only Abbie returned, he asked her where the two of you were. Abbie told him the two of you were dolls, but instead she said you were dead. Why? Because she had no idea you guys were still alive. Draco was enraged and slapped the heck out of Abbie. I was watching the whole thing. Mostly 'cause it was a bit entertaining.”

So that's when I found out that Draco knew about us turned into dolls. Oh, and that Aaden enjoys people getting hurt only when they deserve it.

“Oh yeah,” Aaden says nervously. “After you stormed out of my place being told that they died, I sort of done some research on the spell she used; they were still alive. I already dealt with the doll part. They just need their memory back.”

“Oh,” Draco said, yawning. “Then just take 'em to a doctor.”

“Draco, it's not that simple. She used a spell to take it away.”

“UGHHHH. Bruh, you gotta understand that I don't even know anything about that! I'm no wizard!”

“I didn't even know you were coming here! Wait. Did Zidane send you?”

“Of course she did.”

“Of course she had to look through my stuff... Okay, Draco, you're following Arin, Taliyah, and Timothy.”

“Wait, what?”

“Hi! I'm Timothy!” Timothy said stupidly. “Oh wait. We already know eachother.”

“You haven't unpacked, correct?” asked Aaden to Draco.

“No-”

“TALIYAH, TIMOTHY, AND ARIN, DRACO'S COMING WITH YOU GUYS.”

“Oh. Yay,” said Arin. “My cousin is coming along.”

“I WANT HAPPINESS IN THAT VOICE!” said Draco, demanding fakely. Or maybe he just has no idea how to demand. Whatever, he was demanding.

Okay, so lets get this straight. Draco is the cousin of Arin and the niece of Aaden, and our best friend from a long time ago. He was told that we were dead, but bam, we're alive. Like, the heck. Then Aaden decided to look up the spell, and found that we were actually alive, but it wouldn't be worth it, for the reason that she washed up our memory. He found a way to cure us (sort of), but he couldn't fix the memory just yet. It can't be fixed by freakin' doctors because it's a spell, and I've been told that spells don't wear off that easily. The only way to break the stupid spell is to get time crystals. Also, during the hours, I've been studying about time crystals. The crystals are very rare, and they are actually from a tree. Fascinating, right? There are different crystals from different trees. Oh, wait. I'm lecturing again. Okay, so we have all that covered. Well, the four of us waited at the bus stop. We decided to have a subject to talk about.

“Okay,” I said as I was sitting down on the grass. “On three we will name our favorite thing to talk about. Ready?”

“Yeah,” said everyone else.

“One, two, three!” I exclaimed. “Ancient scrolls!”

“My birthday!” says Draco.

“Apples!” says Timothy.

“Air!” said Arin.

We all just stared at Arin blankly. “You talk about air?” I ask her.

“Well, it isn't as weird as you talking about scrolls,” said Arin, whom was crossing her arms stubbornly.

“You know, why do you even talk about scrolls?” Draco asked me. I thought that was a stupid question, but hey, it was a question. Plus, I'm pretty much the only one that talks about it, so.

“I talk about ancient scrolls so I can understand the ones I saw as a doll earlier,” I answered him. “I have 'em right here.”

“How old are you guys?” Arin asked me, Timothy, and maybe Draco as well.

“Lets see. How old was I when me and Abigail fought?” I asked.

“Five,” Draco answered me. “You were five.”

“Oh. Then being a doll for twelve years, I am... seventeen.”

“Dang it, I'm surrounded by seniors!” complained Arin. Draco only laughed at her comment.

“Arin, she's not a senior, yet; after the summer she is,” explained Draco.

“OHMAIGAWSH, ME TOO!” exclaimed Timothy. I sighed.

“When is the bus going to get here?” I asked, groaning in boredom.

Then, right at that moment, a yellow school bus stopped at us, and then the doors opened, I saw a boy in the driver's seat. He has blonde hair and black on the edges on his hair. He also has blue eyes.

“By any chance,” I begin to say. "Are you a bus driver that goes by the name Bus?”

“He sure is!” said a feminine voice. I soon discovered there was a girl, whom was a teenager, with black hair with blonde edges on her hair. She also had blue eyes. “I'm Bus' sister. Name's Plane.”

Well, this is a weird meet. A bus driver named Bus and probably a pilot named Plane.

“Are you a pilot?” I asked her. Hey, it was all out of curiousity.

“Co-pilot,” she answered. “I'm almost there.”

Whew. If she said no, then look of how much of an idiot I'd look.

“Anyway,” said Bus. “Sit down, all of you.”

Everyone sits down, including me. Draco sat down next to me, Arin sat down next to Plane, and Timothy... he was just alone in a seat. Oh well.

Bus started driving, and we all decided to have a small pep talk.

“What're your names?” asked Plane.

“I'm Taliyah, and these guys are Draco, Timothy, and Arin,” I said, gesturing to each one of them as I said each name.

Bus gasped happily and looked at us. “WARP MODE TIMMMEEEE.” He pressed a button and suddenly we were going at high speed. Basically, everyone was screaming.

“DID YOU EVEN GET YOUR LISCENSE!?” yelled Plane, who was hugging Arin.

After a session of screaming, the bus finally came to a complete stop.

“Welcome,” Bus says, smiling like nothing happened. “To Hoverbroad!”

(Sorry I was late; I needed to finish this chapter.)
