Jerald was one scatter-brained man. Feeling as if he had a potential in life, Jerald swooped right down on his dirty, old chair. The old man was usually thought to be a sociopath, bent on creating ragdolls to torture. But, like most rumors, they were untrue. Jerald had a passion for creating living beings, striving to do so, ever since his pregnant wife passed away. "Hope this one doesn't go down the drain... Again..." Jerald muttered, as he fumbled in his pocket for his silver and golden keys. Keys. Such a wonderful invention. Each one had their own shape, size, and texture. None were the same. Who knew that such a simple invention could benefit humanity? And that's what most of Jerald's free time was spent on. Keys. And what do you get when you mix Keys and Living beings? Living, animated keys. Or, Keyfreaks, as Jerald preferred. Keyfreaks were one of Jerald's many inventions, but this one.... This one was different. Jerald worked hard, day and night, generating enough energy to pump his creations alive.

The little man opened his eyes, if he had any at all. He slowly looked around in a drunk manner, wondering how he was even alive. What was he, anyways? The little man looked at his body, arms, and finally, Jerald. Jerald was ecstatic, as he felt like he did something right, for once. The little man was obviously afraid, for this being was much larger than him, and seemed to be angry. Shaking with fear, the little man covered his head, slowly making his way to the being. Jerald stopped dancing, and looked down at the scared little man. "Oh, my bad! Welcome, to Planet Earth!" The little man narrowed his seemingly non-existent eyes, not sure whether to trust this large foe, possibly friend. The little man slowly walked towards the Mechanic, scared for the worse to come.
