You are all the perfect case of Poe's Law. Poe's Law is that, unless it is made obvious, it is impossible to tell a parody from a genuine article.
In layman's turns, You can't tell the difference between someone mocking a Christian fundamentalist and an actual Christian fundamentalist on the internet, unless the one who's mocking them makes the sarcasm apparent.
