What is your favorite book series that you like to read and how did you get into it?

Mine is Warriors and I found it when I was reading a few pages of my friend's book after he left the library for a few minutes.

Hm.
All the popular book series books like Divergent, Percy Jackson, Warriors, etc. were overrated imo. I read adult fiction, mostly. Michael Crichton, Stephen King, Ray Bradbury- sometimes the occasional Laurie Halse Anderon book. Or maybe I'll reread Cry of The Icemark for nostalgia.

A friend got me into Percy Jackson after he pushed me into reading a part of the second book where a cyclopes buys donuts. I got into the Hunger Games once I heard that the movie was coming out. A very good series that I think everyone should read though, is the Enemy series by Charlie Higson. I have only read the second book called "The Dead" (my friend got it at a book fair, he let me borrow it), and it blew my mind. The series takes place in New York I think, and everybody over the age of 16 has turned into a zombie. So a group of kids try to survive and its really great.

Oh my god, the deaths in Warriors make me cry. I'm on Firestar's Quest, the first book in the second series. @FluxerCry

Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and the Fairy Tail manga are so popular in my school.
