What is your most exciting, glorious, gruesome, or annoying moderation experience?

Ill start the campfire stories with an arousing tale of my modship on a Minecraft server:

So on this server, there is a dev, named AcidicCyanide. And because hes a dev, he does whatever he wants. I got in so many fights with him that i just resigned and left. But him and his lacky followed me to another server. They started crap. I told them i was going to be a better admin than him. They took that as an insult. And they lied to their boss, and i got perm banned from one of the servers, and de-modded from the other one. So needless to say i have resentment towards crappy staff. So yeah... not really a story, but it will start us off.

I was a mod on another site. There was an option to "de-grammar" users (just like on 3DP).

Let's just say I abused that power too much.


Demotion and ban from website. Totally worth it.

I de-grammared every user in every chatroom. Even the two admins and the mods. I set it to permanent, as well.



The owner ended up deleting the site and making a new one.

I just to be a mod of an rp group, someone messed up the room, change all the groups, removed almost all users from the group, the mod who did it unbanned himself, and it took all night to get everything in place. I had some 'splaining to do.

I used to run a Minecraft classic server. The noob count was ridiculous at first, but it was easy to weed them out after a while. And the griefing attempts. Lots of fun.

To be fair, the site was lame and full of noobs. The admins were snarky, rude, and snooty, and talked down to the mods and users.

Full story:
So I was freshly modded (the owner was very, very shallow and upon hearing my age (that I lied about), he modded me) like, in the past fifteen minutes and they didn't even have staff rules. It was basically like "here, you're a mod, you'll know what to do". So a user comes in, his username is a newcomer color, and his username is "Peni$".
So I banned him.

The admin that was in the room promptly started on about how stupid that was and started patronizing me, because apparently Peni$ was an ex-admin.
The admins started treating me like crap after that. They'd sometimes demod me as a joke and waited until I freaked out to remod me.
The admins had recently installed a new degrammar-user option that was open to all mods and admins. I was in the revenge mood one day, so I went to every chat and de-grammared every user, mod, and admin. The rest is history.

3dspaint has crappy mods. Case and point Haruspex. Allow me to explain.

I Knew nothing of 3dp until after this. Everybody was getting featured blogs, But they were all friends with the people who featured it. I always saw them pallin' around in the chats. So i made like five different blogs and they were all denied by a mod named Haruspex. I got on the chat and asked him to look at my last one. he replied with:

"Denied. Your blogs suck."

So when he left i said:

"i don't think Haruspex likes me."

to which a user replied:

"He doesent like anybody."

then i said:

"None of my blogs are featured. Can anyone give me tips on how to write better?"

and then in rolls the noob train called Haruspex.

"Omg, levi. You sound like a teenage girl that didnt get likes on her selfie. stop whining. you sound hella immature. 'wy nobdy liek my selfi?' quit whining."

I said that he was being immature, and i didnt whine. We argued, back and forth, until he makes a joke and i say:

"We are all in awe of your incredible wit."

and he goes:

"You're*"

To which i reply:

"Wrong. You're is a contraction of 'You' and 'Are'. If i were to listen to you, i would be saying 'We are all in awe of you are incredble wit.'. You can't even insult me correctly."

And he blew it off. Didn't respond. Then we starting talking about fedoras. I said:

"I have two fedoras. My dad calls me a gay faggοt for wearing them. " To which haru replied with a ban. After he already cursed. So i refer to him as an AcidMod. But im thankful, for if he had not vanned me from the chats, I would never have looked in the "Affiliate website" section of the forum. Finding this wonderland.
