Draazen- I say go for it. If you don't, you'll never know what your dad was like, or what it feels like to have one. If he turns out to be a real jerk, at least you'll be grateful he wasn't part of your childhood. Again, what you don't want is to not know what would have happened. Just give him a chance.

Im am 18 almost 19. I have never met my Biofather. He was a HUGE druggie I was told and thats why my mom kept me away from him. He has been in jail several times. He always got tickets etc for not paying child support when I was a kid.. :/ I got in contact with him last week! He told me 'Your finally 18! You were the bane of my life when you were little. I got sick of paying child support.' I said sorry. A couple of days later He asked me if I would like to met him somewhere. I want to go and finally see him but I really dont know if I should go. I dunno if he is still on drugs....Should I go? I REALLY REALLY WANT TO GO! Just dont knw if I should. Btw,he started paying when I was 15..
