Theories ahoy.
TREEhugger101 (2014-04-06 00:13:48)I'm pretty sure karma means that if you do something bad (e.g., swat somebody across the face with a crowbar), something equally as bad will happen to you and vice versa.
Not bad luck = good luck.

Mephistopheles (2014-04-06 01:08:04)Number two and four aren't really theories.
They can both be proved.

carlos11 (2014-04-06 02:43:11)Kaiserin, I don't think you know what a theory is.
I've read about hinduism before, it's somewhat interesting. Now, in this culture, "karma" is not just the word given to your next misfortune believed to be the result of an action sufficiently bad. Karma can be good, according to these beliefs. Basically, bad behavior corresponds to bad karma, and good behavior corresponds to good karma. Yet these rightfully deserved supposed consequences may not necessarily occur in this life but the next instead, according these world views.
To me, this is our (but not mine) way of dealing with the occurrence of bad things. It is us (but not me) saying, "I deserved it." It is people drawing a line, thus connecting two things despite there being neither correlation nor causation involved. Just another religiously aimed attempt at making sense of the universe.
Language is a tool for efficient communication. The internet is a tool for fast communication. Do not defy both intents by posting incoherent writing.

You won't see me here, but you might find me if you look in the right places.

1--I do believe everyone on earth does in fact have someone who looks atleast 80% just like them.
2-- I think people who are blind can infact develope sensitive taste, because it just makes sense, right?
3--I believe in karma, anything bad happens to you, something just as equally good will happen.
4-- I heard someone say if you practice you can jump just about 4 feet in the air if your good enough, and I kinda believe them...
