Etria (2014-04-01 04:09:56)Before I lived in my current home, a tornado (a weak one) passed over it. It's fine though, roof may be damaged somewhat.
I've never been unfortunate enough to experience one myself.
SPCOxion (2014-04-01 04:41:49)Yeah...
As much as I'm fascinated about tornadoes, they scare the living crap out of me.
WYoshiX2 (2014-04-01 07:01:03)Forest fires are the big threat where I live. Too rugged for tornadoes, no volcanoes, earthquakes or anything. Blizzards happen occasionally in the winters, but otherwise there's not much to worry about here.
Still a Lugia.
Amatsuki (2014-04-01 08:35:19)By far, the worst natural disaster is my brother.
Probably sleeping, probably eating.

Bean (2014-04-01 20:17:23)In England, there's not alot of natural disasters except the yearly flooding of Cornwall.
Btw, did anyone hear about the climate change warning?

OtherSilhouette (2014-04-01 23:09:36)I felt those Earthquakes. Earthquakes happen a lot in Cali.... I don't like Cali..
TREEhugger101 (2014-04-01 23:43:25)Alaska- Literally seventeen earthquakes every month.
Also, bad snow days in winter. Lots of power outages and stuff.
Your chances of encountering a wild animal are almost as high as the every-five-seconds wild encounters in Pokemon.
But it's totally worth it.
Great fishing, great skiing, beautiful area, friendly people, etc.
Well, actually, the crime rate in Alaska is crazy high.

carlos11 (2014-04-02 02:18:29)Honestly, California for the win. The weather is actually nice on the west coast, compared to anywhere else. Earthquakes, unlike most other natural disasters, cannot be anticipated. Thus, one should not live in constant fear of dying because of an earthquake (it's not like it's super-effective or anything). Places that get droughts, blizzards, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. definitely have it worse. Aside from the possibility of drifting off into the Pacific, earthquakes are pretty much all there is to fear, here in California.

carlos11 (2014-04-02 14:11:42)But when was the last time anyone in the US died due to seismic activity? It's not very often that we get an earthquake that's +7.0 on the Richter scale. Below that, they're harmless.

RobertABC (2014-04-02 16:29:59)A little earthquake (4.0) Chicago. And the huge winter storm. A blizzard top in (Chicago)

In the middle of the US, there's a place known as Tornado Alley.
Needless to say, there's a lot of tornadoes there.
Scared of tornadoes? Move away from the middle of the US.
But tornadoes aren't the only natural disaster.
Move west, and you'll have earthquakes.
There was one recently, actually, a few days ago.
Move east, and you're prone to hurricanes.
Remember Hurricane Sandy?
What if you want to move to Alaska or Hawaii?
Alaska has frequent earthquakes, and, of course, blizzards.
Hawaii? Arguably worse. Earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes/typhoons, and volcanic activity.
Oh, well then, you would just live on a mountaintop above the clouds?
If thin air, lack of resources, lack of community, and the threat of mudslides sweeping your house away is your thing, then go for it.
