"your meal sir." I was dining at my favorite Chinese restaurant. Like any other day. But as my server turned to head back to the kitchen he dropped a fortune cookie onto my table.
"Uh thanks?" I looked down at the cookie he had dropped. For a second I thought of just throwing it out, but hey its a free cookie right why not? I open the wrapper and crack open the cookie. immediately I read the fortune.

"You must leave this city now. They have found you. run."

"what the..." before i can even finish my sentence I have a gun pointed at me and my hands above my head. "Who the heck are you? i don't know what you want from me but please lower your gun." I snap at the man.

�Sorry can�t do that, I have orders to capture you.� He replies in a deep tone from behind the mask.

�Well I won�t be sorry when I do this!� I slowly raise my voice as the sentence passes and it ends with me yelling at the man. I quickly spin around grab the man�s arm and disarm his weapon. He reacts and throws a punch at me. I duck below his punch and trip him, sending him to the ground. �I�d love to stay and finish our game but I have to dash. Oh and thanks for the gun.� I taught at the man as I grab his pistol and ammo and secure it to my belt and run off.

I run outside the building and hear the sirens approaching from the east. �alright so I�m heading west.� I calmly say as I jump on my motorbike throw on my helmet and zoom down the street. Not to far down the street A bullet flies past me, I look back to see 3 black cars and 1 motor bike chasing me through the city. �It�s not easy being the popular one! well you wanna dance lets dance!� I shout back at them as I duck into an ally trying to lose them. �Dangit dead end. this is so stupid!� I drive up an old piece of wood and fly out onto the other street and swerve left.

I screech to a stop. �dang you guys are fast for a bunch of henchmen.� I snark at them.

�oh please don�t refer to us as a low life henchmen. we want your power and are not going to let you just lea-� His sentence is cut short as he hits the ground, hit by a bullet.

�Oh you won�t lay a finger on him.� The voice pulses down the street as the rest of the men fall to the ground.

�I still don�t get how these people found out my secret� Ah well to bad it�s what is going to kill them.� I smirk as the man that dropped the guys before lands on a roof near me. A black aura starts to seep out from my sleeves and starts to envelopes my hand first and continues to surround me as i slowly raise up. as soon as the aura stop moving it quickly explodes outwards smashing windows and throwing cars and light poles back. �Alright send all you've got! Cause you're fighting Xiao the demon king now!�

�This is squad 4 I�m pulling out the big guns.� The last one standing from the energy burst takes off her helmet and quickly switches to her real form. �So how long has it been Xiao 200 years?� She remarks.

�about that yeah that was the last time i killed you, but you just won�t die now will you.� I throw back at her

�You know neither of us can die X. now lets just end this quickly. I have a job to complete.�

�You owe me 25 bucks for that meal btw.� I smirk as my scythe forms from a black liquid the flows from my sleeve. �Lets dance.� I smirk as I grab my scythe and fly at kai. I spin my weapon and she locks my scythe in place with her blade. She kicks me back and I smash through the walls of a building. I stab my scythe into the ground slowing my speed to a stop. �Damn she�s gotten stronger.� My scythe reforms into a Single handed sword as I charge at Kai in a blur, I land a cut on her side wounding her and causing her to collapse.

�how is it you defeat me every time you moron.� Her tone causes me to stop in my tracks.

�Because I want the old you back Kai, I swear one day It�ll be like the old days again. me and you working together. i�ll save your soul from him i promise you that. SO DON�T GIVE UP ON ME KEEP FIGHTING BACK UNTIL I CAN SAVE YOU FROM THAT DAMNED DEMON WHO MADE ME AND YOU LIKE THIS!!!!� I am starting to tear up at this point.

�I won�t give up Xiao just hurry�� With that she falls again and my search to save our souls marches on�. (TBC)

So what do you guys think of part one of this story? I put a lot of time and effort into writing this and am please with it's outcome, so I hope you all enjoy it! I'll post a master thread in the misc once enough people have seen it! well anyway, enjoy!
