Intro ~

I was too busy running. Scared. Terrified. I know it doesn't seem like much, but it was scary. Vines were draping along the castle, killing live people. Skeletons were lying around. Dead. I saw a light, and it shone on someone. It was a girl, about my age, and I grabbed ahold of her hand and tried to find the nearest exit. I never saw her face. All I knew was that she had black hair. She was covered in blood, but I can hear her. Breathing heavily. I was doing the same. I was crying in fear, and then I saw an open hole on the castle. I picked her up, ran to the hole, and jumped off the castle. My world has seemed to be in slow motion. I could tell the girl was screaming. I didn't scream, though. I closed my eyes, instead. I opened them again, only to find myself sweating, crying, and in my bed. My parents were there. They comforted me. But that was the first time it happened. At the age of 6.

Chapter 1 ~ I Think I'm Dead

I couldn't believe it. I thought it had stopped. At this point, I was 15. I had no idea who that was. It was so frightning. My mother suggusted a counselor.

"Mother, please. I'm sure I can live until then. It's just a bad dream."

I knew my mother was just worried. Suddenly, my eye started to hurt. "Ow."

"Honey, what's the matter?"

"Oh, nothing, father."

"Are you sure?"

I looked at my father in the eye. My parents gasped. I felt a tear run down my face. There was none.

"What?"

"Your face..."

My mother knelt down, and lifted my chin up. "Do I have to go to the doctor, mother? Father?"

My father took out a mirror. He gave it to me. I giggled. But when I saw the mirror, my expression changed. Terrified. I felt a tear run down my face. My left eye was turning gray. My other eye, which was blue, was turning lighter. I felt the world was spinning. I felt my head get light. I saw my hands. It was turning to stone.

"Mother!! Father!! Help me!!"

"Honey, don't worry!! John, get the doctor!!"

"I will!!" My father had said, and went to the doctor. I felt my body get colder. My mind was dizzy. I finally saw my father return, with another man, who seemed to be a doctor. But that was the last thing I saw.

"Yugao!! Yugao, no!! Please, stay with me, darling!!" I heard. My mother's voice. I closed my eyes in fear. It was long since I opened them.

Although, I still heard thier voices. "She's... gone. She's completely made out of stone, now. Zyra..."

"John... Yugao is still here. I know she is."

"Zyra, she's gone."

"No. She isn't. She never leaves my side. I never leave hers. You, on the other hand, never spend time with our little Yugao. And look, now. She's dead!!" Mother said it with a heartbroken voice. I couldn't see them. I couldn't open my eyes. I couldn't hear anything on the day August 20th, 1867.

Chapter 2 ~ Someone Un-Stones Me
(By the way, for this chapter ONLY, I will do someone else's point of view. Enjoy!!)

I woke up and looked around. What a great day it is. The weekend. I decided to hang out with my friends at the park. I suddenly had a phone call. I picked it up.

"Hey, it's Theo. Who's this?"

"It's Miya." Oh, it's Miyako. Rian's probably there, about to take the phone. I'm borrowing his book, so it was pretty much expected.

"Hey, where's Rian?"

"Bookstore. He figured you broke the book already."

"I didn't break it. How irresponsible do you think I am?"

"Uh... Well... Er..." she stammered. I rolled my eyes.

"Hey, make sure to tell Rian I didn't break it. Meet me at the park, you guys?"

"By the statue? Please? It's such great artwork!!"

I only laughed. "Sure. Oh, and tell-" I then heard the dial tone.

I got ready and walked outside, waiting at the statue. I saw a nice flower. I thought it would look nice on me if I were a girl. I didn't exactly know why I thought that, though. I looked at the statue.

"It's so old," I thought. I read aloud the tag. "'Yugao Heartly. Unknown death.' Hm. Maybe Rian can tell me about this-"

"Talking about me? I hope not," I heard a voice say. It was obviously Rian. I turned to see my best friend, looking at his book. I looked at his cover.

"A Japanese dictionary? Really, Rian?"

"It just so happens that this girl's name means 'moonflower.' It's why they put moonflowers around the statue. Also, according to the book, she can be thawed. Legend has it, this is actually the real girl. Suddenly, her eyes were changing color, and she was turning to stone. No-one really knows what happened."

I picked up a moonflower. "Hm... She looks cold. It must've been winter when this happened."

"Yes," Rian replied. "It was. And at that point, she was turning to stone. So she basically grew cold, since stone can grab the weather. There's a rhyme that was given, but no-one understood it. People began to think it was a lullaby, so they posted it online. 'Moonflowers, as pale as she. Lovely, as her eyes. No-one thought it could be. No-one thought she would die.'"

I thought for a moment. "Moonflowers... Exactly! She needs to be cured with exactly that!!"

"Man, Miya was right. You ARE intrested in magic!! But trust me, magic doesn't exsist. It just a fairytale, Theo."

I didn't care. I climbed up the fountain, grabbing ahold of a moonflower. I placed the flower on her head. Her face. It wasn't working.

"Theo, it isn't going to work. Magic doesn't exsist."

I took a deep breath. I thought. "Her eyes... That's exactly right!! The moonflower needs to make contact with her eyes!!" I placed the moonflower on her eyes. I backed up. I saw the strands of blonde hair, falling loosely, and she's moving. She seemed to be blinking, as if she has no idea what the heck she was doing there.

"Where... Where am I?" she girl asked.

Chapter 3 ~ So Confusing
(Theo's Point Of View, Again. Sorry, y'all.)

Well, this was unexpected. I thought I'd make a fool of myself. There was a girl, who used to be a statue, right in front of us. Then me and Rian heard a familiar voice.

"She's alive!?"

The girl looked at Miya, confused. She then backs away, frightened. "Please, everyone... Go away..."

I looked at Rian, who shrugged, then looked at Miya, who shrugged also. Well, they were useless.

"What's wro-" I tried to say, but was cut off. I was suddenly hit, falling back, with a scar on my face bleeding constantly. I have never felt a force that huge. "S w g Conwy theory for th l have heh want Wassermann t!?"

The girl only looked frightened. "Nothing, it's just... Stay away... Please..."

Miyako and Rian only stared at me. "What did you say...?"

"Uh... It's better if I just... Keep what I said to myself..."

Miya looked at the girl. "Don't worry, we'll keep you sa- AGH!!"

When I looked at the girl, I saw it completely. Her left eye was grey. Her right eye was the lightest blue. She was holding a broken mirror.

"Stop!! Just calm down!!"

"Stay away!!"

She then jumped off the fountain and ran into the woods. I tried to run, too, but Rian and Miyako stopped me.

"Let go!!"

"Let her go, Theo. She's too scared."

"Exactly."

"Hey, Theo," said Rian. "What language did you speak?"

"... Japanese..."

"So I didn't need a book..."

Chapter 4 ~ Igniting My Memory
(I made a desision. Whenever a chapter title is red, it is Theo's Point of view. Whenever it is Yugao's, it is blue. Thanks for understanding.)

I was running in the forest, until I had to stop for my breath. "Why... Why am I... Alive? I must've still been alive when I was stone..."

I saw a figure in the moonlight. It was three figures, to be exact. I widened my eyes as I ran away.

"Stop!!" said the male voice, which actually seemed familiar.

"Who are you?!" I yelled, yet I was aware that I must keep quiet. "I'm dead, like my parents have said!!"

"Of course," said another male voice. "The parents claimed she was dead. People used to be all into sorcery. The legend was that thee shall find the key to unfreezing her. Many people believed this by a very young sorcerer-"

"My brother," I had said aloud. "He was the greatest sorcerer in all of the land. I was in England. Explain why I'm here?"

"Well, they put your statue self on the ground for years. They then transported you to America, so... Welcome!"

I facepalmed. "No need to sum it up like that. I need to go back. Hold on... what is the date?"

"Um..." started the boy. "It's actually the date of your death... August 20, 2014."

"What!?" I accidentally said sternly. I then softened my tone. "2014!? Why the heck am I in the year 2014!? I'm supposed to be dead!!"

"Legend has it that once you were blessed to life, you have the power of immorality... But you can still die. You can't die easily, if you understand."

Three of us looked at the awkward fellow.

"Rian," said the boy. "Shut up."

"Theo," said the other one. "Don't shut me up."

The girl stood up straight and tall. "You guys, stop it. You guys act like a married couple..."

The two boys only stared at the girl in dissagreement. "Really, Miya?" the boys said in unsion.

The girl, Miya, held her hands up in defense. "Don't push it. At least I let you live."

"Theo, Miya, and Rian I assume?"

"How'd you know our names?" Theo asked.

"Don't be stupid," I said. "You basically already introduced yourselves. Not propertly, if you understand." I giggled. The three only looked at me in confusion. "Ugh," I groaned.

Chapter 5 ~ Learning About Modern Technology

Ugh, I thought. I don't know what people are using these days.

I was thinking about the electronics they were using. I think they're called phones, yes. It was almost like Rian read my mind.

"Now, Yugao," he began. "This is called a 'cell phone.'" Theo laughed, as well as Miya. I laughed silently as well, while Rian just looked at us confused.

"What?" asked, a bit annoyed.

"It looks as if Yugao already has the hang of it,"Miya had said, pointing at the phone I was holding. Yes, I am a fast learner.

"What the...!!" he said, as he threw a little tantrum.

"Are you done with your tantrum? Because I must get going."

Theo, Rian, and Miya looked at me in confusion.

"What?" I asked. Miya then looked at me.

"Nothing. I mean, Rian and I have a reason. Theo... he's not even looking at you," said Miya. I then turned my head at Theo, who just heared his name.

"Hm?" he said. Then he realized something. "Oh, no, no. People can't know Yugao is alive. That'd be..." he chuckled. "Really, really, confusing."

"Theo, you can be a bit irritating at times," said Miya.

"Baka," I heard Rian mutter. Appearently, Theo heard it.

"Rian, why'd you call me an idiot!? That's it," Theo said, picking up a rock and throwing it at Rian. Then, when Rian held up his hand to stop the rock, everyone froze in shock. It didn't drop. It didn't hit Rian, either. It was still in midair.

"Um, guys, he missed. I'm not suprised- Oh," he said, as he realized what was going on. Although, all Theo looked like was he was angry.

"Why do you get awesome supernatrual powers!? That was my dream... Baka..." Theo said. Rian glared at Theo, and Miya slapped Rian and Theo.

"That's it. I can't deal with these two children."

Theo and Rian glared at Miya, as I giggled. Then the two looked at me, while I whistled nonchantly.

"There has to be some explanation. Since when did people have powers!?” complained Theo. Rian adjusted his glasses and laughed.

"Maybe because I'm attractive and I deserve it," he explained, raising his eyebrows. Then he winked at me. Miya slapped Rian across the face.

"Dude!! Not cool!! The minute she gets un-stoned, you start joking about that?" complained Theo. "Those are stupid!!"

"Who said I was joking?" asked Rian, smiling a charming smile. Which really didn't charm me at all.

"Sorry, I'm not really that easy to hit on. I already lost myself. I don't need to lose anything else," I said respectfully. I then lifted my chin up and walked into the woods. Theo grabbed ahold of my arm.

"Yugao... Stay with us. You'll be better off that way," he said, trying to persuade me.

"I'm sorry, but I think I'd be safer off alone," I said, and his face looked a little hurt.

"No, they'll find you. Do you know how advanced technology is these days?" explained Theo. He had a point. "Please."

"Fine. But I'm doing this by force."

"Yes!!" exclaimed Theo. Then he basically realized what he had done, and scratched the back of his head. "I mean, it's cool. Yeah..."

Chapter 6 ~ A Fake Cousin

I had to do something to convince my parents to let her stay at my place. I mean, I wouldn't expect my parents to just let her in. So I basically tried the dumbest way to win; by saying she is related.

(Well, yeah. I hope you enjoyed this chapter so far!! Oh, and feel free to give some ideas.)
