Things in life
drag us down.
We feel insecure,
we feel let down.
People order us,
and we obey.
This is our life,
we know no other way.
But if someone stood up,
if someone rebelled,
would we stand with them?
Wait until they fell?

Would we go quietly?

When things turn to ashes,
and there's no where to hide,
When the capital falls,
and so turns the tide,
do we once again,
bury our heads?
Or do we fight?

Will we go quietly?

When the body counts rise,
and the children scream,
when dust clouds you vision,
no longer can you see,
when they come for you,
and your on your knees,
ask yourself this,

Will you go quietly?

Can you let this happen?
Can this go much longer?
How much can you stand,
seeing this manslaughter?
Your cuffed hands are freed
by a stranger in the crowd,
and you think to yourself,
my time is NOW.

You will not go quietly.

They load you into the van,
and the tears of family fall.
Many are dead.
Many, if not all.
You wait until its time,
then you stand and fight.
Your ready for thier blows,
and you'll be alright.

You CANNOT go qietly!

You know when its over,
the knife in your heart.
But you keep moving,
the rebellion starts.
people join in,
as the van crawls to a stop.
the van is tipped over,
people are shot.

We will not go quietly!

And you escape,
But your bleeding out fast.
you try to ignore this,
and pick up a flag.
you wave above you,
there will be defeat!
And as you do,
the rebels grow stronger.
So much loss and anger,
feul thier hunger.

There is no quiet!

And you heart soon stops,
and you fall to your knees.
you just hope that,
you family cant see.
Because you want to be remebered,
as the hero who tried,
and saved your people,
who learned not to hide.

You did not go quietly.

Never will you go quietly.
