So recently I've asked my mom for a phone, and she says I'm too un trustworthy/ responsible for a phone yet. She won't even settle for a flip phone! She says I wouldn't take good care of it, even though I've had my 3DS for 3 years, and barely anything bad has happened to it. My mom and dad are divorced, and so my dad totally agrees on me getting a phone, but my mom and my stepdad don't. Not to talk bad about her, but she's really being passive agressive about this. She says I'd probably not get a phone until 9th grade! Me getting a phone is also for saftey reasons, too. Plus, I'm already in 7th grade. Her plan is Verision, and she already has like 5 people on that plan, but my dad only has him self. So, she says she would want it on her plan, instead of my dad's AT&T plan, because she says she wants to monitor and set restrictions for it, and thinks my dad won't do that. But seriously, why put another phone on your phone plan, to make it more expensive for yourself? So... with all being said, what are your opinions on this? I really need to convince her.
