Help Locating Mp3 Device
WYoshiX2 (2013-12-28 03:58:01)If the above doesn't work, you've probably got a faulty port. Try a different USB port, and if that doesn't work, then I would suspect it's a problem with the player itself.
Still a Lugia.
OtherSilhouette (2013-12-28 04:34:30)Google the player to see if you need any specific software. Also, what OS are you using? Try plugging in something else to make sure the port IS working. Lastly, maybe you need to download a specific drive. Idk.
imtheboss722 (2013-12-28 04:51:46)Well, the little 'ping' doesn't sound when I plug it it, but the player starts charging. I hope it's not faulty. I'll try using it on other computers/laptops. Thanks guys. :b

Well, never thought I'd find myself here, but all the tech forums are suddenly dead, so coming to Plaza for help is like, my ultimate fallback.
Anyways, my problem is, I just purchased a new cheap Mp3 player for working out, walks, etc. (It's the Phillips Go Gear Raga, to be precise) I was planning to just copy & paste my Mp3 audio files from my SD card to the player. But when I connect the USB/Player to my laptop, no Autoplay message or "Device With Removable Storage" shows up on my hard drive. The USB is correctly connected, and the charging screen for the Mp3 player is active. I just cannot locate the device on my computer. Any help as to why this is happening? Any tips/suggestions are highly appreciated.
