My phone is a Nokia Lumia 521. It was released about six months ago. This is my next phone after my iPhone 4. I got this phone in November. It runs Windows Phone 8 (Lumia Amber). It is a very nice phone with some major flaws.
Pros:
1. Windows Phone 8 OS
2. Good build quality: Nokia is the maker of the near-indestructible Nokia 3310!
3. Stylish.
4. Fast.
5. I have T-Mobile's 4G LTE which is fast and reliable.
6. Micro SIM and Micro SD cards are common so you can use your old SIM card with this phone.
7. Resistive touch screen.

CONS:
======================
1. Capacitive home row buttons means you have to be careful while doing something such as watching a video or you might hit the Bing button.
2. Windows Phone keyboards are cramped and are hard to touch type on.
3. Poor Netflix app, you can't swipe the seek controls away so you have to wait till the thing goes down.
4. No YouTube app: you have to go on the browser ir download a free YouTube app which they are trials.
So in conclusion: the Nokia Lumia 521 gets a 4.5 out of 5.
