~Chapter 1;Happy Birthday~

Adri lay in her soft bed next to her window. Her long soft burgundy hair brought out her luminous emerald-green eyes, contrasting the beauty of her pale skin. The black hoodie she wore had been torn and ripped along with her denim jeans. The black fuzzy boots she wore dangled over the side of the bed. Adri always wondered... Is there anything else out there? Besides the cold, crowded city? Where air was fresh? Where water was clean? Adri drifted though after thought. Her wish, was to see something other than this reeking city. Unlike the stagnant air outside, Adri's house smelled of fresh flowers and strawberries. She never opened the windows, or else the polluted city air would fill her room. Adri heard a knock on her front door, as always, she crawled off her bed and strolled over to the door. Walking down each step of her long winding staircase, she looked out the window to see the beautiful city lights illuminating sky scrapers and cellphone towers. She opened the door only to be confronted by one of her closest friends, Demetrey. Demetrey had a smile stretched around his face. Demetrey is a somewhat tall male with what seemed like dirty-blonde hair, To hide he was actually blonde. He wore a gray hoodie with a black skull on the stomach, denim jeans and normal tennis shoes. His ice blue eyes showed his happiness well. "Happy birthday, Adri-san" Demetrey smiled and hugged her. Adri chuckled and returned hid hug "Thanks.. I thought everyone had forgotten.." Adri seemed disappointed when she finished her sentance. "Don't worry, I'm sure no one forgot your 16th birthday." Demetrey reassured her, handing her a small box. Adri flashed him a smile and opened the box, pulling out a beautiful diamond necklace with Adri's name engraved into it. "Demetrey... you're so sweet.." Adri complimented him as she put the necklace on. "Ah, it was nothin'" Demetrey chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.
Adri and Demetrey spent some time together before there was a knock on her door again. Adri stood up from her couch, pausing the movie she'd been watching with Demetrey. As soon as she opened her door, she was bombarded with boxes and gifts, only to be nearly trampled by her friends Draken, Alek, Alyssa, Alexander, Alexandra, Alex, Caleb, Dj, Dalton, Dia, Dave, James, Siwirt, Umar, Jake, Liz, Mark, Arielle,Jake, Dallas, Sky, Joey, 11, Nuham, Pedro, Jeffery, Phillip, Harleen and Chase. Followed by her 'twin' sisters, Aiko plus Snarky and Demetrey's twin brother, Roxas. "See! No one forgot!" Demetrey said while laughing as he pulled Adri off the floor. Everyone had smiles stretched across their bright and happy faces "Happy birthday, Adri!" atleast everyone gave Adri a hug and threw a few compliments her way. Adri's reaccuring thoughts about how terrible the city was, faded away like paper underwater. Adri enjoyed herself for many hours, being surrounded by friends made her happier than could be. ~Chapter 2; Dreaming of paradise~
Eventually, Everyone had passed out in Adri's home. The silent sound of slumber drifted through the room. Adri shifted in her slumber, trying to stay comfortable on the hard couch. Adri found herself in a long dark corridor, leading to an open door, blurred out by a harshly bright light. Adri felt oddly compelled to walk into the harsh light. The light blinded Adri as she stepped through it, but she had been amazed at what she found on the other side. A lush green patch surrounded by tree's with freshly growing apples. Bushes and bundles covered with a variety of flowers covering the branches. Crystal clear water, a long stretching waterfall hanging off a cliff. The beauty was ravishing. The air was fresh like Adri's home, and a bright blue sky stretched across the globe. Adri never wanted to wake up, ever. But sadly, her wish did not come true. There was a loud thundering explosion that made half of Adri's friends, including Adri, shoot up from their slumber. "The hell was that?" Dave asked, a fearful expression shown in his face. The twin terrors(Roxas and Demetrey) shot up and hustled over to the window. Horrified, they gasped at what they'd seen. Adri pushed through the small crowd only to have the same reaction. A sky scraper has been ravaged, blown to bits of cement.

~Chapter 3; panicking city~

Adri glanced in all directions, seeing more sky scrapers topple over one another, a thick blaze formed across the streets and in Ally's. The frightened citizens ran in all directions, bombarding into each other in a panic. Screams and cries were heard throughout the blazing, wrecked city. By now, everyone had scurried up to the window only tobe utterly horrified. Adri noticed a skyscraper had smashed through the high wall that surrounded the City. No one was permitted to go in or out. Adri realized this was her opportunity to escape. One by one, she prepared her friends to escape with her. Everyone shared Adri's Hopes and Dreams of escaping this rotting city in hope of finding paradise.
After about 20 minutes, The group was ready to go. All they needed to do now was survive long enough in the fiery blaze to get to the broken wall.

~Chapter 4; Streets of Death~
Running down the streets like bolts of lightning through the bright thickening flames, The group barely made it 2 blocks from Adri's penthouse home before Alexander collapsed. Dave immediately came to a skidding stop, burning the heels of his sneakers, he whipped around with Harleen by his side to grab Alexander up and carry him. The smoke of the flames had gotten to him quickly and caused Adri to worry about everyone. Crumbling buildings dropped many tons of brick and cement down like meteors onto the ashfalt of the streets that set off a sickening smell from being somewhat melted by the flames. Dave and Harleen started dragging behind the others, Adri quickly sent Roxas to help them. Roxas hoisted up Alex's lower body making it easier to carry him through the rotting, crumbling, deathly city. Adri soon began to slow down. Her body had not been physically ready for something like this. Adri never went outside, ever. She hated everything about this city. She wouldn't set foot outside of her home without a gas mask. Demetrey helped Adri keep her pace so she wouldn't fall behind. Soon, they'd made it to the smashed wall. One by one everyone ran through the hole. First Roxas, Harleen and Dave, carying Alexander. Next, Alexandra, Alyssa and Jeffery followed by Pedro carried out their supplies with Draken, Caleb, and Chase close behind with extra supplies. Soon, everyone was out of the city.

~Chapter 5; Suffering and Fresh air~
Adri inhaled the fresh air. It was like breathing in magic. Everyone was astounded by the beautiful sight of meadows, forests, rivers, lakes, and a clean blue sky. Alexander was unconscious. The entire group took turns carrying him on their way to a shelter for the night. Once they reached a clearing in the forest, they set up camp. Alexander was quickly layed down in the first tent that was set up. Everyone continued working but Adri. She'd been grieving about Alex's condition. It was her fault. She was the one who made everyone come with her. Now, Alex was unconscious. She could only think the worst. "Y-you don't th-think he'll die of smoke inflammation... will he?" Adri's eyes were heavy in sorrow when she looked up at Draken. Draken shook his head "He'll be ok... I promise.." Draken replied to her unsteadily before walking out of the tent. Adri sat motionless for hours, hoping Alex was ok. Her worries had been relieved when Alex opened his eyes and looked at her. "Adri.." he coughed, puffing up some smoke "It was.." Alex couldn't finish his sentance. He passed back out. In a panic, Adri grabbed him up and shook him violently "ALEX! WAKE UP DAMN YOU!" Adri felt tears roll from her eyes down her warm face. Demetrey burst in and calmed her down quickly. Adri lowered Alex back down and cried into Demetrey's jacket.

~Chapter6; Missing~

Later on that night Adri fell asleep in her tent next to Alexandra, Demetrey and Dave. She shifted and squirmed in her sleep, as usual. Twisting and turning without end. In her dream, she found herself in that forest again.. this time... it was burning. The beauteous tree's were like giant torches illuminating the darkest of night. Flowers and Bushes, Bushels and grass. All being burned into a crispy brown and an Ashy black. Adri was now completely horrified. She fell to her knee's then looked up to see a tall figure wielding a sword. The figure swung down at Adri, with great force and speed. Adri let out a scream in her sleep before being woken up by another explosion, like the skyscraper. Everyone shot out of their tents in a hurry. A large crater sat in the middle of the camp, smoking from just being created by an explosion. Everyone grew into fear. Was someone following them? Trying to kill them all for leaving the harsh city? Everyone wondered and wondered. Soon realizing Dia was not among the group. Everyone began to panic "THEY GOT HER! THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE EXPLOSION!" Dj cried out instantly in fear. Dave shook his head "No.. No one would've gotten into this camp without setting off the Alarm I set up with Justin." Dave slightly reassured Dj. Mark looked down to his feet "Maybe she... was caught up in that explosion.." Chase gave Mark a cold look. "Dia couldn't have been in the explosion." Chase looked to the crater, that was empty. "Whatever caused that explosion must have something to do with her disappearance though.." Dalton suggested. Everyone couldn't come up with a possible conclusion.

~Chapter7; The Owl goes hoot~
Countless hours had gone by since Dia's disappearance. Everyone, especially Chase, had heavy hearts. Alexandra suggested that everyone should carry a weapon, incase a threat were to attack them. Everyone agreed. No one else shall disappear. Alyssa, Liz and 11 began crafting wooden swords from Tree's they had Cut down for firewood. Alex awoke hours later. Arising from his pillow, then steadily walking out of the tent. "Adri... I need to speak with you.." Adri quickly scampered over to the tall green tent with Alexander at her side. "Adri... it's not your fault that I collapsed.. It was a tranquilizer dart.." Alex pulled the dart from his pocket "Someone's trying to find us... I just know it.." Alex was then interrupted by a sharp scream "!" Adri burst out of the tent to see Dia, clenched in the talons of a large Owl that was circling into the Camp. Dave and Mark grabbed some arrows, shooting at the Owl with their bows. Trying their best not to hit Dia. The Owl let out a painful shriek from being hit in its wing, causing it to fall straight to the ground but released Dia from its talons as soon as the arrow hit. Chase ran then jumped off a stump, in mid-air he caught Dia and landed in the crater while holding Dia tightly in his arms. Dia looked up at chase, tears falling from her face. The Owl fell onto the ground with a high-pitched scream. Everyone was too scared to move. The Owl whipped around to attack Adri but was quickly stopped. Adri screamed loudly and held her head in her arms, right after, the Owl exploded. The camp was now covered in blood and feathers. Everyone looked at Adri, horrified by what they had just seen. Adri, killed the Owl. There was no mistaking it. It was Adri who caused those explosions, but how?
-Chapter 8; There's a time to talk, and a time to shut it up.-
Adri looked down at her now blood covered feet. Demetrey put his hand on her shoulder and tried to comfort her and bring her out of her shock about what she'd done. Adri's face was pale like the sparkling snowdrifts that would line the streets every Christmas. Adri stood there, No expression to show her emotion but a single tear that ran down her cheek before she fell to her knee's. "I.. I..." Adri was still stunned as if she'd been bitten by a rattlesnake, Shaken by the truth unfolding. "I caused the explosions... The Skyscraper.. The camp.. The bird.." Adri was quickly interrupted by Alek "Adri.. It's ok.. it's not like you did it on purpose.." Alek was then pushed away by a girl whom no one noticed before.. It was Kelly. Kelly pushed her way through to the head of the group. "Adri could've killed us! We could've been blown to bits by now!" Kelly protested that Adri was just going to kill them all eventually. No one followed her however, Everyone believed Adri was too sweet to kill them. "She's just a hazard! We should have stayed in the city!" Kelly spat, her expression not changing. "If anything, Adri is no Hazard. Adri is a human being like you and me alone." Frazer stood up for Adri. Frazer, along with the rest of the group stared coldly at Kelly. Kelly shook her head then walked back to her tent. No one said a word then rest of the day, all they did was prepared to set off once again. Hour after hour, not a word spoken, only the sounds of movement and chirping birds could be heard. Later that night, Alexander lit a campfire. Everyone, but Kelly, sat around the warm blaze under the moonlight.
-Chapter 9; Time to die-
The next morning, the group was ready to leave. Everything was packed, everything in order. Nothing out-of-place, nothing forgotten. They set out on their journey soon after. Through the mountains they went, On their way to paradise. Wherever they might find it. Adri was still uneasy from the day before. The haunting images of the Owl exploding flooded her mind.
After 5 hours of hiking, The group stopped for a small rest in a clearing by a waterfall. The cliff that dipped down from the waterfall was beautiful. Colors of the rainbow reflected off the running water. The prepossessing beauty of the waterfall was astonishing. "I guess we could stop her for an hour or so.." Frazer said before leaning back on the tree behind him. Adri sighed and slumped down on the tree next to Frazer. Dave walked over by ledge of the cliff, Examining the breathtaking beauty. However, He stepped too close. Suddenly! The ground beneath his feet collapsed and he slid down the slope but caught himself on a root. "HELP ME!" Dave wailed in a panic as his grip loosened. Adri jumped to her feet and slid across the dirt to the ledge, Reaching out her hand to Dave. "Hang on!" She shouted
as she tried to grab his hand, "PLEASE! HURRY!" Dave cried, loosening his grip even more. Adri gripped Dave's hand tightly and pulled as hard as she could, But could barely hold the boy up. Frazer rushed to her side and helped her pull Dave up. Dave kicked and screamed as he felt himself sliding farther down the slope. Jake along side Dallas ran up beside Frazer and Adri, Hoisting Dave up from the side of the slope. Dave gasped and tried to find his breath.

I have inspiration now, But the character limit makes it so I can't continue until i'm using a CPU. I don't need comments either, I just wanted to write a good story and have it available for people to read.
