The Shadows Within
Deces (2013-12-06 00:26:06)I've decided to continue the story in comments so people can go back and read the story before the next one if they haven't read it. Now onto Part 2.
Mother POV
Blaze's mom, Candace was weeping, bent over her bed. Her son was gone, the cops have searched, even some firefighters searched as well. She didn't know what to do but then, she had what she thought was a grand idea.
She was in the forest and didn't seem to notice the slash marks on the trees. She was too caught up in finding Blaze to even notice anything. She called out to what seemed like the outstretch of the whole forest, 'Blaze!? Where are you!?'.
Blaze POV
He was looking at himself, except a lot more 'gorified' and 'monsterish'. He was petrified in fear, it's black claws were drooping down a centimeter away from his nose.
He wanted to reach for his sword but he couldn't. The monster let out a deafening, high-pitched scream. The monster quickly slashed his claws at him.
Mother POV
She was starting to doubt whether or not Blaze was even alive. She then drooped her head in endless pain, misery, and grief. She trudged depressingly all the way home. 'There's no hope for that boy, even the world.', she said.

This is my first story, so please leave feedback by PM or commenting on this thread. This story consists of fictional characters. If you're a noob, let me state, none of this is real. It was a warm, early, summer morning. The air was fresh and nature was at rest. Of course, Blaze was inside playing video games when his mom kicked him out of the house after she said, 'You're 13 years old! Play OUTSIDE!'. He trudged smugly outside, his feet like bricks of lead. 'I'm so bored.. There's nothing to do.', he said. Then he bumped into a man, no, it seemed to be a c-creature.. He backed away slowly then it disappeared. 'Must be my imagination.. I should go on a walk to calm myself', he said. He walked eagerly to a path just on an edge of a forest. 'Wow.. Seems promising', he said. Then, he saw the figure yet again but he saw more features. It had red eyes with a glint of evil, black claws which seemed to be sharpened with swords, and an immensive powerful aura. It disappeared yet again. 'Well, that's why I'm on this walk', he said with a laugh. He walked deeper and deeper in the forest until the sky above was hidden from him and only a speck of moonlight lit through the trees. 'I've been in here this long!?', he exclaimed questioningly. Then he realized he was lost.
I know the story was a little short but I wanted the suspense to rise. Once again, please give me any feedback through PMs and comments. If I get enough positive feedback, I'll release part 2. Bye, thanks for reading!
