You've probably all noticed 3DSPlaza being down for a good six days. Everybody is thinking and shouting weird stuff, like for example that 3DSPlaza got hacked, that 3DSPlaza stopped, ect.
That is why I am going to clear this up.
You probably noticed a lot of MySQL errors in the past. That was because of a limit of MySQL connections (database connections), that we exceeded a lot. Because 3DSPlaza kept growing, the ammount of MySQL errors rose, and my webhost had to shut 3DSPlaza down several times because of that. They told me this was my last chance, so I changed my chat scripts and put a user restriction on it, so it wouldn't happen again.
But it happened again anyways. Even though I tried hard, 10,000 members was too much, so my webhost suspended my account.
It was a really unfortunate time; I was busy, but I tried to fix it anyways.
I looked for a new host, and found http://godaddy.com, that offered 10 times more capacity. I wanted to sign up there, but the problem is that I do not have a credit card or paypal, so there was no way for me to pay.
After some days, I managed to get help with paying, so now we're at our new host, GoDaddy!
This means, that we probably won't be seeing MySQL errors anymore!
I'm currently busy setting up 3DSPlaza (moving a site takes quite some time), so it might still be glitchy.
It's too bad I couldn't get 3DSPlaza back up by January 31th, since that is 3DSPlaza's first anniversary... But I just decided we'll just celebrate it from now on, untill February 7th
