This is used to bypass some school internet block filters. It allows you to go through blocks and reach the web page, but if you're looking for games or videos, flash content is not displayed. This method sometimes doesn't work though. A good alternative method is "Hotspot Shield".

At my school they don't block web sites at all, we just go on Chrome and go on whatever we want.
