Should SOPA and its sister bill PIPA be passed, they will block off non-US based sites, lock downloading on various websites, and outright delete any site that contains too much copyright infringement.

Today is the day the internet "strikes" against SOPA and PIPA, so 3DSPlaza joined.

I do not recommend what Bud said about erasing profiles (or make any of those changes) to it: It's not like anybody important (like the U.S. government) would notice

Yeah, i tried getting on earlier on PC.

It wouldn't work but other sites are being blocked by SOPA.

Facebook isn't being bothered by SOPA, they wouldn't dare mess with such a powerful company.

Same for Google.

I for one am not going to support SOPA, it will obviously ruin the world and start another war.

Facebook and Google can certainly banned if SOPA and PIPA becomes law. Only having a LINK to forbidden sites will/ can get sites banned...

That may be true, but Facebook and Google are very powerful sites with a ton of money and can win court cases easily.

Google has won every law suit on them.

As for Facebook, if its taken down the internet world would die and go after SOPA/PIPA

If SOPA & PIPA passes, Google could start a law court. Problem is that SOPA then IS law. (You can't win a law court against law itself)
