CHAPTER 1, Increasing supicions:

Ben looked up from his work as he did every other day, daydreaming as usual, about what he wishes he could do. He was about to look down again when a green light splashed in from the colourless curtains that covered the windows. Ben, even though he was not aware, was the only person who could see this strange light. He nudged his friend and pointed into the distance. "Can you see that?" He whispered. "See what?" His frend replied briskly, as if someone had made him jump. "That, that li" He was inturrupted by the teacher, "Get on with your work, both of you!". "Yes miss" they replied in unison, and carried on with their work.
