In the Summer of 2010, It was a rainy day and my brother and I were walking outside. We looked near by a tree as we saw a stunning cat who was apparantly pregnant when we first saw her. She lay there in the rain licking herself, as I saw a grieve in her eyes. At that moment, I knew we had a connect as she stared back at me not moving a limb. I held her gently so her babies wouldn't get hurt and passed her through the parking alot with my brother, however her intentions weren't the same, She scratched me as timorious as her eyes lead to me. I slowly and gently laid her back down not anxious of my bleed, I stared at her closely, I knew I wasn't going to give up.
My next attempt, I held her again. This time she didn't scratch, I picked her near my Apartment Complex and onto my stairs. I felt accomplished and relaxed knowing she was safe near me. I walked inside my house and decided to give her Milk, However, Apparantly there was none. I knew my mother never allowed such animals as cats allowed because of "Religious Purposes", however I knew she needed my help. I finally brought the effort to tell my mother about my situation, I was thrilled to hear her say, "Yes, I'll go buy cat food" only till she needed help. Meanwhile, We fed her raw chicken, which she seems to interact alott with. I smiled softly as I watched her eat, Yeah I was pretty afraid at first not really knowing how to take care of a cat. But then I fell in love.
A while later, My Mother approached with the cat food which we feed her that as well. She seemed to enjoy it enough, We build her a box outside because my parents are too overprotective, All the neighborhood kids tried to look at her making her feel uncomfortable.
The next day, She disappeared . We looked for her everywhere till we noticed her hiding in a bush giving birth to 6 adorable kittens as she snuggled with them in our Neighbors laundry basket a while after. We borrowed the lady's Basket and held her upstairs to our Apartment inside.
A while later, A Lady came by and she was a cat lady but she was extremely special and sweet, She offered to buy her a Litter Box which we thought it was really nice of her. We took her advice and request, A few minutes later, She came back with Food and litterBox. I was truly amazed by this women's personality, God bless her. We decided to keep the kittens in the house after a while because of dehydration and they didn't do any harm. It was an amazing experience, I felt great knowing I'm doing such a great job. The next few weeks, We took care of the kittens, However we couldn't pay for them or give them injections so we had to give them away after they grew up a little.
I'm really glad I had the opportunity to do this and acutally help an animal survive with a little push. I had great experience and alot of fun.<3
I'll never forget this day. ( We didn't realize we're making Memories.)
Valeria was her name..<3 I love you and I hope you're in a safe place.
