My cousin has a pet snake. Unfortunately, I don't remember what species it is, although I do know that it's not venomous. Snakes are awesome.

The first snake I saw didn't live to see another day. Rattle snake lunged at me and I jumped back real quick. My foot was already in the air, then I brought it down and smashed its head. The end.

I once wanted one. Then I realized it wouldn't work out, owning hamsters. But now they're dead.
Never thought about this much, but now I might consider getting one of those small snakes that can slither round my hands. Any recommendations?
