Story review:
Character rating: Terrible.
Not very good character development. You have an old demented pedophile that enjoys brutally disembowling people, and then you have the frightened victim that survives the process much longer than humanly possible. No real characters here. No real emotions, besides fear, and twisted sarcasm.
Depth: Terrible.
There is no depth Because there is no character.
Setting: Ehh..
A hospital. And all that we know about it is that it's full of empty, void starch white hallways that smell of.. Ahem, Hospital. There is no mention of other people, save the nurse on the intercom.
Grammar: Terrific.
Nailed it here. But good Grammar is no good without a story to go with it.
Detail: Ehh..
Unless you count the detail of the gore factor, this was crappy. No real explanation of emotion. The only detail was the gore, and the pain the victim was experiencing.
Reality: Terrible.
As stated before, the victim lasts much longer than humanly possible. As soon as the skin opened, the victim would've either been sent into a coma from pain, or died from the exposure of internal organs.
Storyline: Terrible.
A victim is disembowled at a hospital. That's literally it.
Overall rating: Blah.
My opinion:
Crappy. Intense amounts of gore does not mean it's instantly spectacular. I don't enjoy loads of blood in anything. Be it videogames, or books. My favorite character was the unnamed nurse (Who I have now named Gertrude) on the intercom, because she's the only character that is not clearly insane.
