The only code Splashiverse has copied/used is Douglas Crockford's JSON2 module, but that's public domain, and the phpAES class is used for our RESTful API.
Oh, and the sounds are CC-licensed, those copied too, but there's credits.
But people should really make their own scripts more often, because it will teach them the technologies such as PHP, and give them creative ideas about the manipulation of what would be the data, not just "freescripts4u has a forum script, we'll copy it and get the job done quicker".
