Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Review - RGM
ultraguy4 (2013-07-15 06:43:05)It's Knuckles and Rouge's stages both. The problem is mostly with the way you find the emerald pieces. The game will want you to find one specific piece at any time. You could be right on top of one, but it won't indicate it if it isn't the one it wants you to find.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Review
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is a port of Sonic Adventure 2 from the Dreamcast to GameCube.
I would list this as Sonic Adventure 2, but I'm not sure the games are identical, so yeah.
Story:
The police are after Sonic for apparently stealing a chaos emerald. You later learn it has to do with Shadow. (Introduced in this game)
Gameplay [Hero only]:
Sonic:
Sonic is very different from classic games. He has the traditional spin dash, yes, but they added the Homing Attack (from Sonic Adventure, review coming). He also gets the Light Dash which lets him go across a path of rings by pressing B.
Knuckles:
Oh god. Oh god. All of Knuckles's stages are awful. Headache making music, the pinging of those Master Emerald peices, ugh. You can get an upgrade (Hammer Gloves) which lets you break through metal crates.
Tails:
Most of Tails's gameplay is really cool. You control the Tornado as some robot with lasers and stuff. You can get the booster, which lets you hover in the air for a little while before falling.
Final Thoughts:
The game is really good. (EXCEPTION THOSE DAMN KNUCKLES STAGES, WHICH I'M STUCK ON ONE RIGHT NOW) (I'm almost done with the game and I've already seen the ending through my friend so I just decided to write this) The music is great, (Once again, exception Knuckles) the story is cool (exception Knuckles), the controls are good, so on so on. (Exception Knuckles
If you can get past those STUPID Knuckles stages, I suggest you buy it.
