Ok, What I'm here to say is pretty obvious, I don't think A LOT of the chat mods are necessarily trying. Example: Go to the chats RIGHT NOW. EVERY CHAT. You have a 75% Chance to see mods only in the most populated chat. There might be one in the rp chat, but never in the ones that don't have the cool people. Common excuses when you bring this up to a chat mod are;

"No, I have tabs open,"
"With more people, there's more crime in filled chats,"
"Other mods can take care of it,"
"Other mods ARE taking care of it."

Well, here's MY reply to all these scenarios;

First off, I don't give a damn if you have tabs open. You're in the other chat, technically with the tabs, but are you really watching it? Example: You may have tabs open, but if I shout out in the chatroom in which you're using tabs, "HEY, ANY MODS? HMMM?" Chances are, this mod will NOT reply because he's busy talking to his friends in the chat he/she is REALLY focused on, the one with his/her friends.

As for the second excuse, you're damningly wrong about that. Think of the less filled chats as alleyways. Drug dealers don't set up a booth to ell drugs, they hide in alleys and set up appointments there. My point is: The users are humans, THE MOST intelligent life form we know about, they're gonna go where the mods AREN'T at. (At 75% times, the most filled chat.)

The third excuse makes me want to rip my heart out. Twice. Saying other mods can do it only supports my theory of the mods and their lack of taking their job seriously. YOU'RE the mods, not us, do your damn job, and get to it, don't send another mod out. This is a team effort.

And the final excuse listed makes me want to shoot myself in the face, drink bleach, laugh at 9/11 and all of the above. This is a team effort. you can't just use them as your excuse to zero effort. Do you think that at school you have 1 moderator at recess? One lunch monitor? Possibly even one police officer? Usually, no. You are to back eachother up at all costs, and focus on your job, not your friends, after all, you were given the choice to grab that pretty little Icon.

When If this gets closed, I'll find it pretty funny how unstable the mod system really can be...

I have no authority over the mods, but I just think this "modship status" You guys have needs to be EET.

Enforce.
Embrace.
Take it on.

Forum mods, i'm proud that you guys do your jobs without much flaws, but you chat mods are doing CRAP. Don't even say you try your best. Cause you don't.

Mods Who I think do fine and why:

~iLindsayStarZ~: I think she's demodded, but she was one of the only mods I saw change in an effort to maintain modship. She's now a forum mod, though.

ChampionGreen: Allthough he never checks the other chats, he's favoritism free, and he is serious. Usaually.

Sophia_Savaria(Omega): He checks other chats sometimes, serious, kinda, and can be friendly AND maintain his status.

I don't do well?

Anyways this topic raises important issues..

Some mods just don't bother, here is an example.


Last night, we had an alt attack, some mods sat down and did nothing.

However, BlackSycthe and I were working to resolve the issue.


Another point, some mods don't even stick to the rules.. Not mentioning names.




This needs to be resolved, I suggest for matttttt to demod mods who do nothing/break the rules themselves.
