Whenever I'm sitting in the roleplay chat, waiting for one of my friends to get on, or when I am roleplaying, I see quite a number of terrible things that people do. I have wanted to let people know the best way to roleplay for a long, long time.

General tip: Try your best to keep the roleplay going. Don't stay in one place. Such as a house. If you do to sleep or eat or something, skip to when they are done eating. then get out of there and do something. If not, You probably will get bored, or worse, Whoever else you're with will.

Creating a good character: First, think about the basics of how he, she or it would look. Ugly? handsome? It's all your choice. Just don't go too overboard. Does your character have blue hair just because you think it looks cool? Or silver eyes because it matches her outfit? That is a bad decision unless you have a really, really good reason for it. Once you have how they look, think up a name. Read over your character's information once or twice and see if a name pops into your head. If all else fails you could always use a name generator.

Combat: This is what bothers me the most. Whenever I see somebody say *I do a super shot instant kill and doesn't miss*, I just feel like smashing my face into my desk, flipping it over, setting it back up, and repeat the process. You stop the roleplay dead whenever you say that, and then how are they going to reply? *blocks it and says I'm invincible* You aren't roleplaying to see who is better at being invincible. The only time that I fight is when I need to advance the plot, not to kill. Always think of a good reason to stop fighting before anybody dies.

Drama/romance: Romance roleplays... The thing that people do when they are to lazy to get in a real relation. Uh I mean relationship. I always see people say *cries* in the middle of a sentence. If you are going to cry, don't just say that. Give details! Like, *turns his head to hide his tears*, or *Silent tears start streaming down her face.*

Fantasy: You know what? I hate fantasy roleplays. I don't even pay attention to them...

That's why I stopped rping. I'lltotally ry everyone once in a while but Noone joins my rp's. All of them are mostly party, romance, fantasy, highschool,college. Etc. rp's.

I've been shying away from the RP room because of how terrible it can still be in there. Even now, none of the RPs have originality, creativity, or pretty much anything stated above. I stick with roleplaying through PMs or on a private shoutbox nowadays.

In Rps, my character has grown to hate fighting. And when I do, I give an option for a miss by just sayong "I try to hit you with [attack/weapon name]"
