Once I was sitting on a bench outside in a really busy area ( I go into town a lot to go grocery shopping for my parents, get a bite to eat, etc. ) and this one dude came and started yelling at me.

Apparently he thought I was the kid who beat up his daughter and he was yelling on about how I was twice her age ( I'm 16 ) and I shouldn't be picking on little children and stuff like that. All the people walking by would give me dirty looks and stuff like I was some sort of sick bastard.

I make many attempts to calmly explain to him that I had no clue what he was talking about. I'd say things like "sir, I don't know who your daughter is and I'm not the guy you-" and he would interrupt very rudely and cuss me out again.
Eventually a little girl ran up to him saying "Daddy he didn't beat me up, I was pointing to that guy over there!"

After that, the guy just stared at me for a while going "uh- u-um uh I uh..." Then I decided to shove even more guilt on him by saying "I'm sorry about what happened" to the little girl and offering her a pice of candy.

BUT WAIT, there's more.

His wife then comes yelling at him for being rude and she starts getting all emotional and crap so I decide to back away into an alley and walk away while they weren't looking. It was pretty freaking awkward. I felt bad for that girl who probably gets constantly humiliated in public because of her parents.
