Recently some announcements about Wii U were said in the Nintendo Direct :


Earthbound

Most importantly noted was that Earthbound is finnally comming to the states (no word on Europe yet...). The game is said to be launching Via Virtual Console service by the end of the year.

Virtual Console service comming next Week

Yes, virtual console will soon be available on Wii U by next week after the day of the Big system update that is said to reduce loading times for Wii U owners. To see these loading click here

During the Nintendo Direct it was said that GBA and N64 games will come in the near future.

During the direct their was a trailer for what seems to be games that might come on the same day it launches. System Update (new feature added)

Aside from cuting loading to a mere 8 seconds the update will make it possible to go to the Wii menu when turning on your Wii U system. This is done by simply pressing B. As i've said before, the) update will come next Week


Super Luigi U

More details on this dlc has been revealed:

New Super Luigi U:Wii U owners who purchase this downloadable content for New Super Mario Bros.� (a copy of the game is required) will get 82 updated stages and a new adventure featuring Luigi, who can jump higher than Mario, yet has trouble stopping after a dash. Many stages start with only 100 seconds on the timer, and quicker stages are populated with many obstacles.New Super Luigi Uis scheduled to be released this summer during the Year of Luigi.

Game and Wario Release Date
Game & Wario will be available in stores and the Nintendo eShop on June 23. Here a new trailer for the game:


Pikmin 3 (New Pikmin) +US Release Date

Aside from rock Pikmin, Pikmin 3 also introduces Winged Pikmin which basically are small purple-ish pikmin that fly and help carry things.The game launches in stores and in the Nintendo eShop on Aug. 4.

The thing I hate what Nintendo did, is they're bringing GBA games on Wii U and not for the 3DS. That's not fair for us non Ambassador users.

It's the year of Luigi! Maybe the original Luigi's Mansion on GameCube can be the first GameCube game on the Virtual Console. It's very likely.

I wonder if Gigyas will be in this as well. Originally it was rumored that Gigyas programmed in the wrong cartridge during shipment for those who want to pirate it. So it ended up shipping the wrong final boss. I just really wish they added another Earthbound addition rather than re-releasing the game.
