Well, here's what I suggest:

1. Learn HTML
2. Learn CSS
3. Learn JavaScript
4. Learn PHP
5. Learn MySQL
6. Make it

So, basicially learn to code from a site like Codecademy[/link] or [link=http://thenewboston.com]TheNewBoston, then make it yourself.

Also, if you want a good, successful site, I suggest learning as many (web ) programming languages as you can, and collaborate with others.
