My DSi is not working. I've changed the battery, and still (it did this with the old battery to) the charging light will come on, for like 3 seconds after I plug it in, then go off. Can someone please help? I have no idea why it's doing this.

Is it doing this while the battery is low? The power light would be red, but the charger would still stop working? And are you sure that it's not charging, or is the charging light itself just not working? Is the charger's wire frayed? Have you tried charging another DSi with that charger?

the battery is completely dead, and both chargers charge my 3ds, and even if i leave the charger in for sometime it wont charge

Then the DSi is probably malfunctioning. Try sending it to Nintendo for them to repair.

aaah, well, i'm just tryingnto see if there is a way to self-service it first, then nintendo... i think the warrenty's expired though...

I wouldn't send it to Nintendo. I'd order another Internal Battery on Nintendo.com

Possible Solutions so I can close this thread:
Send it to Nintendo because it may have malfunctioned.
Buy a new Charger, because the Plug may have been damaged.
New internal battery.
Try charging it in another plug. I had the same experience, and I found that it works if you plugged it in a different outlet.

Either way, (sadly) Most likely you would have to spend money to replace a damaged part.
