As I walk through the cold winternight,
not a person in sight,nor a light
Lies a the only gift worthy enough for my love.

Among it's thin and twisted stem
it's pedals sparkle like gems
For it lye there forever intombed in a ribbon of darkness.

Though I must cross the valley of death,
it is worth it.

For our love will guide me through the depths of heaven and hell to retrieve it.

It lay like Noah's ark
Peharps waiting a true loves spark
As if ignited it devour the darkness surrounding it

Like a fire that would burn and never slow
engulfing its surroundings in a ominous glow

Sweat drips from my hair
but slowly freezes in the subzero air
As I approach
with great care
Everyone here knoes
that the rose
will the blood
of those who touch it

My insignificant mortal body is trapped in the rose's beauty
I have failed u my love

So now i lie
and wait to die
Finally I can rest
