Simon Petrikov was a researcher who discovered the Enchiridion and a crown with red jewels on it. As part of a joke for his fiance, he wore the crown. Eventually, the crown possesed him and drove him insane, leaving him immortal and alone. At this time, a nuclear war occured, killing all but a few living beings. In this post apocalyptic world, Simon meets a small girl, thus the Simon and Marcy 1/2 hour special.
