I honestly don't see why so many people are against online relationships.
Just because someone is dating someone else who doesn't live near them doesn't make them desperate. In my opinion.

I don't agree with all online relationships though. For example , some people will virtually go out with the first person they come across. That's dangerous. I believe you should get to know the person first before going out with them virtually. Online dating is still dangerous that way, but at least then it'll be easier to tell if the person is trust worthy or not. Get what I mean?

I am currently in an online relationship, and I couldn't be happier. We got to know each other before he asked me out, so we have a stronger bond and we trust each other.

I don't go out to people's profiles looking for online daters. If they don't show it in the chatroom, then I'm fine with it.

I online dated, well, not exactly. I did it to piss people off and others feel bad. One of them supposedly "cried." It was fun!
