I don't know about you guys, but compared to the

warning-msql_error/too_many_connections error and the profile deletion problems, I actually find myself missing the ol' 503 errors...

Any one else with me on this?

Yes. I completely agree. Also, I never got 503's, but I just got 40 MySQL since the server was updated.
