My definion of noob:

1. Noobie (Noobie = Newbie = New)

2. What the more known users use to make fun of those lesser than them

It depends. The original meaning of noob was indeed newbie, somebody who is new.

But a lot of people also use it to describe somebody who is bad at something (The reason is usually because they are new to it).

N00b and Noob are the same thing, So you don't have to say "Noob or N00b"

And it is usually people who are relatively new at something, But some ignorant people on the internet will just casually call you a n00b, New or Not.
