I used to be like that.

Had the longest friend's list in Plaza. Over 1,500.

Now I only add people I know and talk to.

Other people will do it too. It's just a phase.

I use to have a huge friendlist on cruncher. I deleted a few but a in a few days I get requests from all of them again. Now, I only add people I know. If someone I don't know friends me, I won't decline it, but I'll ignore it.

I think the list has a self-descriptive name. Anyone who you can or could have considered a friend is in the list. All others are just random strangers.

I only add cool people who I knew for a month. I decline any noob who requests. What's the point of it? Noobs think they'll turn cool if they add the "popular" ones. Uh, hell-O? You don't even know them in real life!! e_o

I only accept friend requests with people I feel a connection with. IThe longer your friend list, the lower your chances of acceptance. Plus I'll only add people I'll be talking to frequently.
