Actually, they announced that Luigi's Mansion is coming to the 3DS around the same time the 3DS was announced. The only reason it's for 3DS and not Wii U is so the 3DS has some exclusives, while the Wii U has it's own exclusives.

Sorry, but it's your fault, we've known that Luigi's Mansion was going to be a 3DS exclusive for two years.

Kind of a bad argument, that's like saying I want New Super Mario Bros. U on my 3DS because I have 3DS and not a Wii U, or saying that I want Little Big Planet Vita on PS3.
