Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Review
DarkHarvest (2013-03-19 23:22:32)You gave sonic 1 a low score for not having spindash, homing, attack, super peel out, etc. but this game gets a perfect score?
You forgot to mention the fact that you can control tails in single player which breaks the game.
And what is all 4 of the sonic games you mean?

angelrulez7 (2013-03-20 06:20:31)DarkHarvest,
1. I meant Sonic 1 had no special features and a slower speed limit.
2. Oh, yeah.
3. Sonic Classics: Sonic 1, 2, 3, & Knuckles.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Title Screen
Today, I am reviewing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Sega Genesis. (Master System was bad)
Fanmade storyline; basically manual in my own words:
Ever since Miles "Tails" Prower was a baby, he always wanted to be like Sonic. Sometimes he would follow his hero around. Sometimes Sonic would go too fast and leave Tails behind, but Tails spun his tails and flew back. Then Robotnik comes back, once again bent on world domination. He turns all the animals to Badniks. He scatters them around in Emerald Hill Zone (Tails's home), Chemical Plant Zone, Aquatic Ruin Zone, Casino Night Zone, Hill Top Zone, Mystic Cave Zone, Oil Ocean Zone, Metropolis Zone (Its past version was Wood Zone in Sonic 2 Beta, for the game was going to have Time Travel), his own Sky Fortress, and his main weapon, the Death Egg. Sonic can turn into Super Sonic, but he needs all 7 Chaos Emeralds and at least 50 rings. The spin dash was also introduced in this game.
I say it is an amazing game, the best of the classic Genesis four. I'd give it 10/10
Easiest to find ports: Emulation, Sonic's UGC, Sonic Classic Collection
Harder ports to find: Sonic Classics - 3 in 1, Sonic Mega Collection/Plus
