I have killed the Rabbit thing with all classes, and the Plesioth with Sword+Shield, Lance, Gun Lance, Dual Blades, Great Sword, and hunting horn. Can't beat it with the projectile weapons...

Thats the Plesioth. Also, its a Leviathan, not a dragon.
